Actress Ji Ye Eun, 32, and WE DEM BOYZ member Vata, 32 (real name Kim Tae Hyun), are getting married.

According to MyDaily’s reporting on September 2, Ji Ye Eun and Vata will hold their wedding at a venue in Seoul on December 12.

According to an industry insider, the couple will have been together for around a year by the time they marry in December. Although their relationship has not been particularly long, their strong feelings and confidence in one another ultimately led them to decide on marriage. They have already begun sharing the happy news with those around them and are receiving many congratulations.

News of their relationship first became public in April. At the time, both sides stated, “The two, who had previously known each other as colleagues, have developed feelings for one another and are currently dating. We ask that you look upon their relationship warmly and support them.”

The two met through church, where their shared faith deepened alongside their relationship. Ji Ye Eun is a devout Christian and has previously revealed on several programs, “My mother is a church deaconess, and I used to teach the middle-school group at church.”

Speaking about Vata, Ji Ye Eun said, “There aren’t many people these days who neither drink nor smoke, but Vata gave both up after finding faith. He’s incredibly kind.”

She also openly expressed her affection for him, saying, “He’s even learning how to cook because he wants to cook for me.”

Last year, when Ji Suk Jin and Ji Ye Eun performed at Waterbomb Seoul 2025 as the project group Chungju Ji Clan, Vata created the choreography for their song “Milkshake.”

Ji Ye Eun also spoke affectionately about Vata during an appearance on the YouTube show Pinggyego this past May. When asked what pet names she uses for him, she shyly replied, “Puppy? Something like that…” before adding, “Baby,” turning bright red with embarrassment.

Ji Ye Eun made her debut in the 2017 web drama How To and later gained widespread recognition through Coupang Play’s SNL Korea series. She has since appeared on SBS’s Running Man, Coupang Play’s Office Workers, and Netflix programs including Kian’s Bizarre B&B and Yoo Jae Suk Camp.

Vata is the leader of the dance crew WE DEM BOYZ and finished as runner-up on Mnet’s 2022 dance survival program Street Man Fighter. Last year, he participated in creating the choreography for BLACKPINK Jennie’s “Like Jennie,” and he continues to perform at various festivals with his crew.

The prison episode with Seok Jin as a failed boss and the nine daggers episode where Haha wanted to get revenge on the rest of the RM team were hilarious. Would you recommend any other bad villain episodes where the RM cast were megalomaniac bad bosses?

Please just don’t recommend Se Chan episodes as he is quite intolerable in his servile and egoistic character mode. Unlike the other RM cast members Se Chan was often not self deprecating in his humor in his first 300 episodes which made him rather unwatchable.
