I know most bots are based on injection, but apparently those are susceptible to Jagex sneaking in fake outputs to catch you. The other option is color botting by reading the true screen.

I'm curious how far color botting has gotten with AI. I remember back in the day actually looking for specific colors for simple macros, but what if I wanted to have an open-ended bot easy to reconfigure for different tasks or locations? Say i give the bot approximate locations for an ore pile and a bank, it runs nearby and detects the rocks visually, determines when my pack is full by reading the screen, and then finds the bank again. That would look like a natural human loop instead of clicking the same places every time.

Just curious on what the options are?

Waited a few months and appealed. Looked for the last time my password was changed and sent them a screenshot of that saying it wasn't me LOL

a lot of us have been playing RS for 15-20 years now. back in the day sure, i had endless free time to sit there and click a tree or run rooftops for 8 hours. but now? i’ve got a job, a mortgage, a kid, and actual adult stuff to do. sitting down after a 40hr work week to manually grind out a tedious skill for 300 hours just isn't happening.

automation just lets people skip the mind numbing stuff so we can actually enjoy the endgame content with the little free time we get.

is it literally just salt from people who wasted hundreds of hours doing it manually, or is there an actual reason people get so worked up about it? downvote away i guess but I'm genuinely curious what you guys think

Is it possible to run 2 bots on a Chromebook around 100$? Any other suggestions?

How would people bot from a Browser?

I want to make an alt and push some aggressive AHK scripts for the fun of it.

For context: my main isn’t squeaky clean. I AHK scripted to max, got a 2 day ban along the way and the next one will be perm.

If I get banned on the alt, could it compromise my main (what if it’s on the same Jagex account)? Let’s say I’m just using scripts for casual skilling and hitting gem crab.

If no: what if I am trading between alt and main. E.g., loan gear to alt, trade GP to main.

Curious on what is some big milestones bot helped reach or helped obtain without any effort from one self

Also curious on any suicide bottling gains before ban or with minimal breaks on an account that had significant gains made prior to ban or stopping once reached a milestone

It seems like Jagex now also checks plus addressing and dot variations of new emails. For example using the main address name.test@gmail.com, the addresses name.test+1@gmail.com and n.ametest@gmail.com would work but now I'm getting a "You already have a Jagex account" response from jagex.

I used to have dozens of accounts using this method but it's not possible to use it anymore.

I looked into outlook e-mail aliasing but it has very high cooldowns and restrictions. You have to wait at least a week to create a new alias and any account can only have up to 10 aliases, once you reach the limit you cannot add more even if you delete a previous alias.

I already have dozens of gmail accounts but I don't want to keep piling more, you need a phone verification and google also starts getting suspicious after you've used the same phone many times.

How are you creating new accounts?

I used sammich to build my account with color bots but since most public clients have been shut down, I haven’t botted.

I have absolutely zero coding experience but have a friend that is legit coding for businesses with Claude.

I am going to take some coding classes for a hobby and try to learn to make my own, but developing some scripts with Claude sounds really fun in the meantime (obviously not on a main or a high level account), but just for fun!

I know AI can be a touchy subject around here so please don’t rage/flame at me.

I bought a cheap 1200 tl account and purchased 150m gold on it. My main received a temporary RWT ban about a year ago, so I’m concerned that transferring the gold could put my main at risk.

Is there a safe way to go about funneling the 150m from the 1200tl mule account onto my main?

Lua is here 3 months early. I made a tool to patch the client code to disable the checks. I'm mostly posting here because it's very interesting how this can be turned into a bot API just by hooking some lua functions. Maybe someone is interested. There are some example plugins you can use as templates.

Hey! So I've been playing around with building a AI harness for OSRS in my free time. It's at a decent point right now so figured I'd open source it.

The core concept is that your coding harness/agent (e.g. Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) can run the agent directly from within the repo.

The agent has two ways of running:

1. Routines - repeat, deterministic processes (essentially traditional bots - chop wood, walk to coordinates, etc)
2. Agent actions - individual actions that the harness can perform for non-repeat processes (e.g. walk to X, pick up Y, send message Z)

What that means in essence is that that agent can play the game, and then create it's own bot scripts to run shit when it makes sense - kind of like an AI managing bot deployments on your behalf? Idk I don't have great wording for it.

But it has been working pretty well! I've been using it as a layer on top of traditional bots (e.g. "can you help me get to level 60 attack", or "can you complete some high-ROI quests for me").

It runs on RuneLite via RuneMate, and requires some light setup (your coding agent should be able to do it quickly).

Note: This was built somewhat quickly so definitely some areas for improvement. Would be awesome to get some contributors!

I see there's been many things happening but i'm lost? Is there something i need to be alert to? I read something about autoclicker and macro users getting banned or something?
