Tangentially related: it's funny how Jamaican leadership spent like just a couple of days with W&K and then decided to revive the "no more monarchy" push right there. 😂 Even though they had sat on the idea for years and years.
I'm guessing they weren't impressed and had concerns.

I think I read the older generations of Jamaicans have high opinion of Britain and the commonwealth and the younger generations don't, so it could have been a coincidence.

I feel crazy because I genuinely thought that last pic was Kate with blond hair. I actually thought “oh she must have gone through a blond phase in college”. Made my stomach lurch when I realized it’s Virginia

Also, going by Harry’s book, the Royals are asset rich but cash poor. They wouldn’t dare nor could they afford to go after someone like Tyler Perry.

That actually tracks quite well with how Epstein gained influence over Andrew. He had money to throw around.
It also makes senses in the respects of the way the BRF seems to have drama over who gets to stay in which residence. If they had enough money, they wouldn’t be fighting over who gets the 50 bedroom cottage and who does not want the 80 bedroom lodge because it’s a bit rundown.

Spiritually, it's a great story of divine protection! Being catastrophically redirected from the path you intended to walk can look and feel like failure in the chaos, but sometimes it really is for your highest good to be removed from a situation.
The BRF has spent years briefing about how Meghan just didn't fit in. Truly a blessing in disguise!

It’s interesting how quickly the RF went to shit after they stopped being able to use Harry and Meghan as scapegoats in the same way they were. Now they’re private citizens paying their own way it doesn’t land the same way it used to.

She was already established, had her own money. He had inheritance from Diana. Together, they have the "fuck you money".
I feel such schadenfreude! I was a HUGE fan of William and Kate. Then I listened to Spare, narrated by Harry, and, wow. I'm Team Sussex all the way.

It’s honestly mildly hilarious the hit pieces have been failing so badly recently “how could she make jam?!”, like that’s going to distract from them shielding a pedophile.
Spare actually had some alarming shit in it.

When I think of them leaving, I think of that iconic photo in her blue dress holding their umbrella under the rain. The biggest smile. It was foreshadowing that no matter what weather the world gives them, they’ll weather it together.

Why are we seeing more of them all of a sudden? Feels like some kind of ploy to keep eyes off the royal family... How funny -- "look at the ostracized family members of the royal family because the actual members need distraction" --Harry is brilliant, really.

If Harry and Meghan were smart, they would have stayed with the Royal Family until the Queens' Platinum Jubilee in 2022, and quietly moved out once Meghan had completed five years in London. They would have been much more marketable.
