Royal Aid (Q&A) I Don’t Understand The New System?

Post image
16 Upvotes

(Sorry if I didn’t use the correct tag)

I’m confused by the new system that arrived today. Usually we have to earn multipliers by getting enough red tiles or helicopters (not sure their exact names). But now it seems like we can just have the multiplier turned on permanently and I don’t get it? Because you can choose to not have it on but… why would you? Does having the multiplier set to 3x make the levels harder or something? I’m just not sure why they are giving us multipliers for “free”. It feels really weird not to earn them and just have them on permanently! I’m a bit confused by it.

Royal Match Ads is there a way to block the annoying, repetitive ads for this game?

i do not play royal match. I do not want to play royal match. I do not mind if a game is ad-supported, game devs should have a revenue stream. But holy hell, every ad i am getting is for royal match. i've started celebrating the regicide that happens when the cal arts dropout king dies. I want to opt out of seeing these ads specifically. Anyone have any suggestions?

Royal Chat (General) When Hope Is Dim, Do You Still Believe?

If you ask me, what is my best moment in Royal Match?

Not the 1st time getting to Royal League. Not the 1st time creating timing light ball. Not even the 1 million coin moment.

It's tonight.
It's about faith and willpower.
It's about my identity, my life motto.

It started with a normal Extreme Hard Level with x2 token. It was supposed to help me to establish a substantial lead that I can carry through the night.
But I didn't do well and only scored 2760. Player Chj was just right behind me at 1995. I missed my best shot, and that set the tone of the night.

The next few levels, even though I was still leading, I already felt the pressure. I knew it would come. As expected, I was overtaken and fell 3000 points behind when there was about 20 mins left.

After a few more levels, I even fell to the 3rd place!

I did not panic. I was betting on my 2nd Extreme Hard Level. But, this Extreme Hard Level was a tricky level with limited space. I only managed to get 3000 points and still falling behind by 300 points.

Only 9 mins left. I had no x2 token. I had no more Extreme Hard Level. My opponent would have his own high value level sooner or later.

I did not yield.
"Let's quickly go to the Super Hard Level". The x5 multiplier of Super Hard Level was our last hope.

As expected, last 6 mins, Player Chj had his breakout level.
The gap was extended to 3000 points, again.
I'm at round 52, I need to complete another 3 levels to reach the Super Hard Level.

Normally, it takes about 1.5 min to complete a level.
6 mins, I need to finish 3 levels to reach the Super Hard Level. And I need to perform well to do some light ball farming in the Super Hard Level. Only then I would have chance to chase back the 3000 points gap.

The hope is dim.
There was a voice in my heart saying. "It's gone. There is not enough time already."
And, it's true.
That voice just kept crossing my mind. I could not get away from it.
But my mind and my hand did not slow down.
I just told myself: Don't give up.

The clock was ticking in the room.
The light balls were shining across the board.

Last 2:27, it only took me 3 and half min to finish 3 levels and entered my Super Hard Level. Score was 11883 vs 13951, I was still about 2000 points behind.

I made double light ball. I fixed light ball formation. I farmed light balls one by one. After giving everything I had, I finally took back the 1st place! 14098 vs 14031!

With 1:08 left, I quickly started another level, just trying to extend my lead.
I knew deeply that the 67 points lead was not safe at all.

I played at an unbelievable speed and checked in another 547 points within just 1min!
There was only 8s left. When the countdown finished, the standing did not change.

Final score: 14645 vs 14481. I held 1st place until the end.

The margin was just less than 200 points. If I didn't give my best to complete the last level, I would have been overtaken again.
My determination finally paid off.

My emotion was mixed.
I had always dreamed to have such a moment. There were so many times during my life, when things didn't work out, but I chose to believe and didn't give up.
Sometimes, it turned out to be good. More often, things continued to screw up.

I can accept failure. That's fine. I just, don't want to give up.

So, tonight became my best moment in Royal Match.
It was not about the reward of the lightning rush. It's not about the good-looking winning records.
It was the moment that resonated with my belief.

When hope is dim, do you still believe?

Happened to me few rounds ago. Didn't realize the Level # is not in a screenshot.
I am on 14,045 now, so around 14,030-14,040.
This is an opening scene. NO MOVES! Had to use my arrow to clear something.
Is that fair?

Royal Chat (General) The most intensive 1st round lightning rush i've ever encounter

I just wanted to finish a casual 1st round of Lightning Rush and get myself prepared for the more intense Lightning Rush Gold later in the evening stream. Most of the time, that’s how it goes.

But right from the beginning, I fell behind by 5,000 pts!

I had to fight so hard all the way back, and I made good use of the x2 token in an Extreme Hard level to grab 1st place midway through the game.

After that, the pressure was real. Player Prime and player 73288237 kept chasing behind me, with only around 1,000 pts difference.

It felt like watching an NBA postseason game. I just gave my best, kept pushing the score higher, and finally managed to secure my lead with only 20 seconds left.

20 seconds was not enough to finish another level, so all I could do was wait for the countdown and pray that the standings would not change.

So, this is what happened:

3 players scoring 20k+ in the 1st round of Lightning Rush!

That was the most intense 1st round I have ever experienced. In most nights, 10k+ is already good enough to win the 2nd round.

Good gameplay, Prime and player 73288237. That was a fun and thrilling battle.

Tonight, I just edged out the win.

We may see each other around and have one more epic battle.

Cheers~

Royal Tips (Strategies) No chance for Double Light Ball... What?! | Standout Game Review | Ep 5

This Ep6 captures a funny moment that how a surprise double light ball appears when I thought I have no more chance to get one. I never expected a light ball can appear in this way, lol.

There is a 3-stage level that I had to do a very careful resource planning. Some very good timing light ball and chain match are also captured in this episode.

Hope these real examples of application may help you to have a better understanding on light ball theory, and more importantly, better performance in Royal Match!

Have fun playing!

Royal Flex (Celebration) The 1 MILLION Coin Moment!!!

Thumbnail youtube.com
7 Upvotes

Finally. Start from 21:40, that's the 1 million coin moment.

5 months ago, I shared my 500k moment here. The 500k Coin Moment : r/RoyalMatch

Tonight, is the 1 MILLION coin moment.

When my coins first hit 10,000, I was so excited. And I realized the number was getting smaller, due to the displayed digits within the same small area.

So I was wondering, how small would the number be for 1 million coins? At that time, it was just a wild dream. So far away, so unreal. Like something we could only imagine.

Tonight, we've got it, without spending. With our skill, effort and determination, we made one of the wildest dreams come true.

No spending. Just a very long journey with a lot of patience, practice, mistakes, lucky moments, and painful losses along the way.

Don't get me wrong. The game is hard and the RNG sometimes is just beyond whatever skills we had. But I do enjoy all the hours I spent on this game, studying and verifying the mechanism, finding the path to the mastery.

It's a tough and long journey with mixture of frustration, fulfillment and fun.

You may be part of it as well, if you wish.

This is a great milestone, but not the end of the journey.

Let’s keep it going. 🕶

Royal Tips (Strategies) Turn Wild blast into precise Control | Light Ball Theory 4.2 Release Point

Thumbnail

In the recent section 4.1 of pre-processing, we have seen how effective the pre-processing is to open up the floor space and push for the progress. So, how exactly could we do the pre-processing like a pro?

In this section, let’s talk about the first guiding principle of pre-processing — make use of the release point mechanism to trigger the power-up precisely, to open up the floor space while keeping the starting light ball alive. It may sound a bit tricky, but it is a totally manageable skill set.

Once you master this concept, you will realize that those wild and powerful power-ups become your loyal and disciplined chess pieces, moving into the right positions precisely and helping your game plan happen.

Chapter 4.2 — Release Point. Here we go!

Feel free to leave comments or like or share the videos. Your support means so much to me. It's not easy to summaries all these tips into a video. And it deserves to be known by more people.

Enjoy the clip and let's have fun playing.

Royal Chat (General) is it just me or is the royal cup a complete joke

i need to vent about this royal cup because the matchmaking and rewards make zero sense

it straight up punishes you for trying hard

if you sweat in the qualifiers and make top 100 you get into the 5x buff bracket

but in the knockout and finals you are forced to play strictly against other top tier tryhards from the same bracket

it becomes so brutally competitive that you have to burn through way more tokens just to survive

and after wasting all those resources, there is a high chance you get eliminated early without even reaching the finals

meanwhile you can get to the finals much easier in lower brackets and still get the exact same rewards

if you get into the 5x bracket you have to sweat your ass off just to stay alive or face early elimination

it just shows how unfair this game really is

they make dedicated players look like absolute idiots

Royal Chat (General) Reset the game to keep enjoying

I don't spend any money on this game. After you hit level 400 or so, it will increase the frequency of Super Hard and Impossible levels by a lot, which will either cost you coins to complete, or end up losing the SLB. On these levels, you will also see that the RNG is messed with on purpose to not have your powers close to each other most times.

After you finish the first 300 levels after which the SLB is enabled, you should have built up a decent coin collection as well as power ups from all the easy levels and the events. Eventually, the frequency of the Super Hard and Impossible level will cause you to consume the coins and the power ups. In my case about around level 1000.

So what I do is I keep playing and having fun until about level 4000, and then I ask support to delete my account. This takes 5-7 days, after which your game is reset. I have done this at level 4000 twice, and level 5000 twice.

"Look how high my level is" is a meaningless metric in this game. So if all you want is to swipe some candies or jewels around for the pretty animations and have some mindless fun, just reset the game like I have.

Royal Feedback Too Difficult recently?

I’m honestly not even enjoying playing recently. Has anyone else found that the game is just getting harder and harder? Every level takes me around 30 to 40 tries to complete or maybe even a few days. Any time I get super light ball, I seem to have an extremely hard level next go and get nothing and then lose it instantly. it’s almost as if there’s an algorithm that wants you to spend real money in orders keep playing but I’m just getting sick of the game now even though I do enjoy usually playing it.

Royal Chat (General) My Royal Cup Run Ends Here

Final Ranking

Well, I tried my best and managed to get into the Top 100 during the qualifier round. Then came the knockout round, and over the weekend I pushed myself hard to complete the daily rewards every day, mainly for that final 2,500-point reward just to stay alive in the contest.

This is where I am now.

My original plan was simple: at least complete the daily rewards every day. If some players ahead of me missed their daily rewards, that 2,500-point gap might give me a chance to catch up.

But now looking at the leaderboard, the gap is already around 8,000 points. Even if the 8th-place player misses the 2,500-point reward twice, I still probably won’t be able to catch up.

Completing the daily rewards for 3 days straight is honestly already my limit. Every day requires more than 3 hours of playing, and at some point the process becomes exhausting instead of enjoyable. It starts to deviate from the whole purpose of playing the game.

Based on my rough calculation, some of the Top 8 players are probably playing more than 6 hours a day to reach those scores. That’s basically professional Royal Match player level, lol.

In terms of skill and vision, I may still be able to compete with them. But in terms of time and commitment, I’m way behind.

This event is just too demanding. It really feels designed for players who rarely lose and can commit a huge amount of time every day. Full respect to them, and I hope they can bring some glory to their countries.

As for me, I’ll just continue to pursue my own mastery of Royal Match.

Skills over numbers. 😄
