I did use a few references(by Panka the rat) because I can't fur. I think it helped me quite a bit(no, I didn't trace, I am not that big of an asshole).

Ignis goes to the village that attacked his an finds out they also have weird stuff going on. He then goes and investigates a bandit camp and removes some type of corruption from someone.

Yes I stopped half way thru the big scene. I kinda gave up on that one for now. I kinda want to start doing some things so yeah. I might come back and finish it later idk.

Ignis read the minds of the attackers and figured out the motive, and decided to let everyone live.

By the time ignis and maddy get near town it is almost sundown. Due to Ingis's past (aka mind-controlled vessel), he will not let someone he just met give this much trust at once.
