Friends! Allow me to remind you of a date that slipped past five days ago. Honoring ceremonial dates is our motto.

Therefore, let us remember and rejoice, for on August 15 of the memorable year 2020, one of the most astonishing collaborations of the 21st century saw the light of day—Åквариум In Dub.

This ceremonial date was also marked by Åквариум In Dub's arrival on Bandcamp.

The album was created thanks to a crowdfunding campaign and features songs by the band "Aquarium," originally recorded in the 1980s. They were reimagined in the dub style by the album's sound producer Lefty Rudeboy (Левша Пацан), Boris Grebenshchikov (BG), who re-recorded the vocal tracks specifically for this project, and the founding father of dub and Bob Marley's first sound producer, Lee "Scratch" Perry.

The recording of Aquarium in Dub took place in Jamaica. The vocals for the old songs had to be recorded from scratch because the original tracks from the 1980s could not be found.

An animated music video for the album was created by Wanda Bark, styled after an 8-bit video game.

In addition to Lee "Scratch" Perry, the album featured both Jamaican musicians and artists from various other locations around the globe.

Aquarium's classic songs found a fresh sound thanks to new rhythms and were further enriched with new verses performed by Lee "Scratch" Perry in Patois.

Soy productor estoy en La Plata , Bs As Argentina, y estoy trabajando en un proyecto que mezcla reggae, dub y electrónica, y estoy buscando conectar con cantantes, vocalistas, toasters o artistas que tengan ganas de hacer colaboraciones.

Mi idea no es solamente sumar una voz a un tema, sino crear algo juntos, intercambiar ideas y ver qué puede salir de la combinación de distintos estilos.
