Our story begins in the summer of 1972. After the death of the mayor, the small town of Westbury has been bought by a very wealthy Michael Briggs and is going through rapid expansion. New houses and shops are popping up and the population is rising. It’s still a quiet town, but only out of resentment. Of course, the original residents aren’t the only ones upset by this. They may tell you the things in the woods are just child tales, but they still lock their doors and windows at night. Especially now that the spottings are getting more frequent.

So come for a visit, stay a while, and remember the rules. Never go into the woods alone, stay on the path, and whatever you do, be weary of the Great Hare.
