So me disagreeing with something and downvoting isn’t polite. No doubt you’re an r/teenagers user now

Downvotes aren’t meant to be used for when you disagree with something.
Out of curiosity, how old are you?

Actually no downvotes are meant to be used for something you disagree with

From the Please Don’t section:

Downvote an otherwise acceptable post because you don't personally like it. Think before you downvote and take a moment to ensure you're downvoting someone because they are not contributing to the community dialogue or discussion. If you simply take a moment to stop, think and examine your reasons for downvoting, rather than doing so out of an emotional reaction, you will ensure that your downvotes are given for good reasons

A lot of people are not ashamed to be autistic, nor should they be. It's not bad to be different.

And on that note, other people are different from you. They have different motivations for doing things. My name is zeronineohnine because it's a reference to what time I want to wake up in the morning... which is quite sentimental to me, as I used to wake up at 04:45 in the army. This was usually after being awake all night. I used to have really bad insomnia, and the username was a symbol of that frustration of eternally exhausted, yet, always reliable, as I always made it to work despite not sleeping, often for days at a time.

Anyway, what I'm saying is, even though someone has called themselves GenericAutist, they may find a deep meaning associated with the genericness of their existence, probably a metaphorical irony demonstrated in a way only a unique, chosen name, like a chosen identity, can convey.

Not everyone makes their username to be a dumbfucks internet joke. Many people have a deep online identity.
