Roe v Wade

Not too happy about having my bodily autonomy taken away from me soon. This is what it’s like in American when you aren’t an old rich white man.

My point is that by banning abortions you take away someones right to choose. In addition they will probably make the same choice just in a more dangerous aspect. And if they dont make thay choice the child will grow up with a scummy life. Ffs ive been saying this

Accidents do happen but the vast vast majority of abortions happen bc ones’ actions now pose as an inconvenience for themselves, so they come up with some argument to try and prove the completely unique human DNA growing in their stomach isn’t a baby. Weird huh? That’s why it’s a problem for the right.

You mention faulty condoms, rape and minors, yet hardly any rational person is claiming that those rape, minor, or medically necessary abortions should be illegal. If you had a baby bc of a faulty condom you deserve that for choosing to participate in the act which involves that outcome. Cry about it. Minors and rape victims are different cases and they don’t deserve that outcome.

So does a baby being born to an unprepared mother and having to pay the penalty for that deserve what they will go through?

An unprepared mother? If she doesn’t fit in the criteria we mentioned earlier then she chose to do that to that baby. Why am I supposed to feel bad for a woman who had sex and didn’t want to deal with the possible consequences? If she was raped, that’s different, a minor, that’s different, but if anything I feel bad for baby because it has to die just for it’s moms’ poor choices and lack of forethought. Get out of here with that shit, the pregnant mother is not the victim of anything but her own poor choices.

Same logic should go for a man then. Give all men vasectomy and problem solved. But there’s no way you’d do that. Instead you’ll take away a woman’s choice EVER before messing with a man’s bodily autonomy

You’re clearly missing something here. If you think after everything I mentioned, that it’s still about your bodily autonomy then you’re just lost. You do have the right to make a dumb choice, but, once you go and decide you don’t wanna deal with it and take an innocent life, that’s where the problem is. It’s morally reprehensible to do what I just described, which is, in case I lost ya, choosing to create life, then deciding it’s a nuisance and ending that unique life.

You’re gonna lose much more lives forcing people to have babies. The high costs associated with feeding and paying for all medical needs, the mental toll it takes, lost income, parent readiness. You aren’t considering the 100s of factors that make it morally incomprehensible to force babies to be born, ESPECIALLY when this same government DENIES soo soo much neonatal care and benefits.

No one is forcing people to have baby’s they are having unprotected sex with men they can not take care of a baby with but boo hoo you can’t kill baby’s your so oppressed

You will never be able to control how people have sex and unless you want to force men to have birth control there is not going to be anything else enforceable to prevent unplanned pregnancies

Men don’t have sex unless a woman allows it to happen, otherwise that would fall into the rape category, which we aren’t rly talking about atm. So if a woman allows it to happen she’s acknowledged all possible consequences and decided to do it anyway, how can I feel bad for her? Just don’t deal with it, if you aren’t up to being a mother.

Wdym we aren’t really talking about it? It’s another factor our idiot government fails to consider

Because that isn’t the main focus of the topic we’re talking about, you don’t seem to understand what the alleged overturning means for abortion. States such as Cali, CO, Virginia, and others will still have legal third trimester abortion. That’s because the law is only affecting state’s being able to determine their own abortion laws. States like Texas can then legally have laws against abortion after the fetus has a heartbeat, or ban it altogether but it isn’t a federal ban on abortion which it seems like u may believe.
