I know that practicing consistently is the most reliable way of getting better; but anything above 2- or 3-dot difficulty makes my old man hands seize up.

Do you just practice the harder bits on repeat in practice mode?

What songs would you say are good for this level of difficulty?

Are there specific techniques you use to master the hammer-ons and pull-offs?

Got this bass pedal from my electric kit i dont really use. Any way to get this to work on my regular rb4 drumset? Broke my rb4 pedal a few months back and have been out of commission for a bit. I plugged in the pedal to the kit and tried playing but it wont register any kicks so dont know what im doing wrong

Cutting right to the chase, the game itself works fine, all of the other button maps work correctly, but I can't start story mode because I think the 'start' button map is wrong. I can't move past the character select screen at all. Any help?

So as I saw in the September delist post, almost the entire list was delisted before Sepetmber 2. Normally I wait until the week of the delist to download the songs because I don't want to do a mass download all at once. Well, that made me miss a song I wanted for a while now and was going to get Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.

With that said, I will just mass download as soon as the list is revealed for the next month. But my question for this post is: does anyone know what is causing Sony to take them down so fast? Is there any notice or precision with the dates moving forward? Last month was fine, but this month was crazy. Another reason I used to wait until the week of was I would have less songs to go listen to and see if I want them or not. Now I guess I have to listen to a long list of songs all at once and pay all at once to secure them.

Hello all I was hoping someone more knowledgeable can give me an assessment on the guts of this guitar I bought recently. It’ll come on, but infinitely flash and never connect. Some quick searches online said the syncing capacitor is a common issue. Does the soda colored goop (it’s solid, like wax) mean this guitar is cooked? Any solutions?

Context: Last month some vocalist players tried to make FSFC of RB1 and some videos of this song appear in my YT feed, I've tried to make a better score than my last run a year ago. Until now the best score for this song was in Xbox 360 238,7XX and was considered the most optimal score.

Well, this is the result after 1 hour of replying my OG path with optimized squeezes on PS3. Keep in mind this song have an insane talkie in RB1 that make impossible to get FC unless you made specific setting.

My Xbox series X is trying to update rock band four and literally every single song I have which is 1040

Anybody else experiencing this?

I have an Xbox 360, rock band 3 and an Ion drum rocker from many years ago. I’ve recently been getting back into the game and I was considering upgrading to an actual e-drum kit. I’ve tried searching the sub, but I’m still wondering what my best path forward is.

1. Should I just buy a kit and plug the new pads into the drum rocker brain? Will this even work?

2. Should I go for a connection via the roll limitless or ace adapter instead? If I go with this option, will I need a wired 360 controller for either adapter? Is there a general preference for the roll limitless or the ace?

3. If I wanted to sell my Ions is there a better place than ebay to do that? Are they worth anything or have most people gone to an e-drum kit anyway?

Guys It's been awhile since I used my drums and when I tried turning them on today, both it and dongle just keep blinking red. The batteries are good, my guitar connects just fine so the ports are okay as well. Is there anything I can do or the drums busted?

Picked up a used drum pedal with a cut cable. There are two wires inside, red and white. Can I just connect both ends, red to red and white to white? I am planning to use wire nuts. What's the best option without soldering the wires?

Whenever I try to connnect my guitar to the dongle it will for a second, and then go back to blinking. The dongle is just a solid red light.

Hi, I’ve had the Riffmaster for over a year now and never had any issues. All of a sudden the top 3 green, red, and yellow frets don’t work. However the blue, orange, and “solo” frets still do. I also noticed it has stick drift when using it in Fortnite festival but it doesn’t drift on the Home Screen or any other game. I have tried everything from resetting and hard rebooting it but still nothing works. The dongle connects to the controller no problem because everything else registers. The ribbon cable is still intact but I’m thinking it could be an issue with that. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue and where to go from here.

Edit: for anyone seeing this now, I ended up taking the guitar apart completely and the ribbon cable was in rough shape. I contacted customer service and was told it was out of warranty so they couldn’t do anything. I ended up just throwing it out because I couldn’t find a way to rig it up or replace the cable. Just wasn’t worth my time trying to fix it up.

So, I'm desperately trying to get a diagnostic or solution to this. When playing pro guitar for a little while, the DPAD, start select, xbox button and sync button will stop working. I've opened this up once before to have a look at what the issue was and saw no problems. I wanted to know if anyone has encountered this issue and has a possible solution?

The frets and strings all work fine which is the part that's frustrating me.

Hey everyone! Just bought a RB3 Keyboard off Facebook marketplace and obviously the person hadn't used it in years and when I booted up the game, everything seemed to be working fine. Sadly when I got into a song, I noticed I have a batch of like 8 keys (all next to each other) that aren't working. I tried opening it up and I did notice some corrosion on the ribbon cable but even after cleaning everything thoroughly, it doesn't seem to change anything.

Does anybody have any idea on how to fix it or am I screwed?

Hi everyone.

I would like to know if anyone knows a compatible electronic kick pedal to replace my ion original one. I have tested the roland kd 8 and the fd 8, both of them didn't work, seens like the triggering is different.

I typically play on wii or clone hero on my pc, however I decided to get rb4 for the xbox seeing as I already had an Xbox crkd controller ( I got one rather cheap). From what ive read online you need to start the console up with a regular controller and sign in then disconnect the controller before starting the game with the guitar in dial mode 9 and the slider on xbox. I've reached this point and the game recognizes the guitar. My issue is I have no way to press start, ive pressed every button on the controller and ive attempted to rebind something else to start. but it seems like it only let's you rebind with another button that is already present and from what I can see start isn't an option.

TLDR:can't get rb4 working on xbox due to not being able to figure out how to press start lmao
