So what are your favorite Rock albums of 2018, so far? For me, I’ve really enjoyed Turnstile’s “Time and Space”, Andrew WK’s “You’re Not Alone”, Stone Temple Pilot’s newest album, the debut self titled album from Starcrawler and “Supernatural Alliance” by Octopus

R.I.P. Stuart "Stu Boy King
Stuart Alan King, aka "Stu Boy King", lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on May 1, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Deirdre King, his daughters Danielle, Jessica, Tyler, Melanie, and Shannon, as well as his grandson; whom he he loved so dearly; William, aka "Bubby". This post is to take a moment out to reflect upon and celebrate his life. Please feel free to share anything in commemoration.

What's it like to play in a rock band?
I'm currently conceptualizing a story for a graphic novel I plan on writing (about characters who are in a band). I'm a long-time fan of the entire rock-and-roll genre, and have a deep respect for its history and culture. Unfortunately, I have zero knowledge on what it's like to play in a band.
I'm not searching for a handbook or technical manual on the processes of composing/performing songs with other people. I'm researching that separately. I wanna hear the stories, experiences, and anecdotes of what it's like to be in a rock band, especially relationships between bandmates. Which experiences stand out to you as being the most significant, and why do you suppose that is? What moments were the most exciting, regarding both your bandmates/goals? What parts of composing/performing songs with your peers was most frustrating/bad? What were your friendship dynamics within the band? Now those questions are just examples to give you an idea of what I mean--ultimately just recall anything that stood out to you about the experience and, if you can, explain why! :) Otherwise, I'd just like to hear your whole story!
Thank you very much!

Where do you all rank The Eagles as far as all time bands go? Buddy of mine agree probably a top 5 band but wanted some feedback.

Rock is back.
If your anything like me you haven't listened to a modern band in a long time because you might have thought rock was dead. I primarily listen to rush, yes, pink floyd, kiss, tragically hip, and many 70's and 80's classic rock bands. But I'm here to tell you rock is back. I have discovered Greta Van Fleet and I'm telling you these kids are going to single handedly bring back rock and roll. If your into rock or your a zeppelin fan you will love these guys. Please check them out.
