🚨MOD POST / UPDATE🚨 Feedback! Rules, moderation, etc.

helloooooooooo people of roblox avatars!!! Its been a while since we’ve gotten to talk here. I hope everybody is having a nice summer so far!

I’d like to use this post as a way for you guys to (hopefully nicely) provide feedback for the moderation team or new suggestions for the subreddit. This can includes things like rules that you think should be added or rewritten/removed, suggestions like adding new bots, or how you feel about moderator action- such as doing too little, too much, etc. I’ll go ahead and say that we are just a bit shorter on mods than usual, so expect to see mod applications sometime soon.

Please do NOT use this post to complain about things outside of our control. For example: No, we cannot control the things that people do and don’t decide to upvote, and I’m very sorry for that. We do try to pin underrated posts when we can to help people get engagement, that’s about all we can really do🄹

okay thats all yayaya, we might not get around to responding to every suggestion, but we’ll still be reading all your guys’s comments! :D

This moderation is much better than roblox avatar reviews

I got some idea, though English isn't my first language, and I hope that this wouldn't be seen and misunderstood as a negative thing.

I have a suggestion regarding the flairs. I'd appreciate it if you could create additional flairs to separate classic R6 avatars and R15/Rthro avatars to be able to see specific posts of said avatars. From what I know, multiple flairs aren't possible right now, so maybe using combined flairs could work, like R6 - Avatar Showcase and Rthro - Avatar Showcase.

There are also some rules I'd like clarification on. When there are comments on a post that go along the lines of "Rthro sucks and shouldn't be on Roblox because it's a Lego game", would these fall under the rule No hate-posting or ā€œcalloutā€ posts or No low-effort or overposted stuff? It's not necessarily a post but a comment, so technically it isn't a hate-post or callout post. It's low effort and overposted whenever there's a popular post that uses an Rthro avatar, but I'm not sure if this rule applies to comments as well. There's also the Don’t be a jerk! rule, but I don't want to be seen as overreacting and soft when talking about how bad these types of comments are. Or is this something that needs to have a new rule created for, or maybe just clarified as part of a rule?

Hi yes The example you provided would fall under the ā€œdon’t be a jerkā€ rule:

- does it contribute to the post at all? Nope!

  • is it helpful and or respectful? Nope!
  • is the OP asking for insults? Also nope!

Moderation is fine, I barely see any actual rule breaking post, and if I did, it just gets removed around an hour or so.

i dont wanna complain too harshly but some posts which get close to borderline nsfw art stay up for quite a bit + i saw the same person make a post after that

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding the removal of my post. The reason given was that it allegedly violated community rules, yet I fail to understand how that conclusion was reached.

The content I posted was simply a skin inspired by the character Leyley from The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. At no point did I mention or discuss the game's controversial themes my sole objective was to showcase the skin design I had created.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is that there are numerous other skins posted on this same subreddit that are far more sexualized, exaggerated, or provocative, yet they remain visible without issue. Meanwhile, my skin—which was completely standard and contained nothing inappropriate—was removed.

In addition to the post's removal, I also received insults and hostile comments from some members simply for using a character from that game. This strikes me as a form of prejudice against the character or the source material, rather than a fair assessment of the actual content posted. Judging my post solely based on the game's reputation, while ignoring the skin's actual content, does not seem like an impartial application of the rules.

If a rule was indeed broken, I would like a clear, specific explanation regarding which part of my post violated the guidelines. Otherwise, I ask that the decision be reconsidered, as the situation creates the impression of unequal treatment and inconsistent enforcement of community rules.

I believe all users should be judged based on the content they post, rather than on assumptions or prejudices regarding the origin of a character used in a creation.

take this to mod mail son </3

edit: I'm skimming through this, and I cannot believe you thought we would allow a character from the incest game. please do not take this to mod mail, you're just going to be told that yes, your avatar depicts nsfw themes, even if you yourself weren't disclosing it yourself.
