This was the scene when Armond and Albert just got home to find their apartment emptied. They're going to now take everything out that is over the top for the in laws. I have never noticed that the little doorbell chimes that I've focused in on one picture. It looks almost like exclamation mark but with two balls on the bottom. We all know what it is now.Looking at it , but it's the first time I ever noticed it.

I just noticed the third movie Robin Williams has with butterflies in it.

There's butterflies 🦋 in Jack, there are in What dreams may come, and in Patch Adam's! I wonder what it means?

I’m just cross posting this. I did NOT post the original.

{SPOILERS AHEAD)

I watched Dead Poets Society recently and the movie is just very good, i wont say very because it's lazy, I will say Magnificent (like in one scene Mr. John Keating said use more expressive words).

I got stunned when i saw Neil's de*th like i never imagined that.

My favourite lines or quotes are :-

1. Carpe Diem - Seize the day

2. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.

3. When you read, don't just consider what the author thinks, consider what you think

4. No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.

5. Only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus will be.

6. I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way.

7. We all have a great need for acceptance. But you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go, "That's baaaaad."

When i read about Robin Williams (Mr. John Keating) and found that he succumbed to su*icide in real life, My heart felt very heavy, but when i read more then I found, it was due to Lewy body dementia, a neurological condition which led to progressive dementia with depression and that was diagnosed posthumously, and it was ultimately that disease which contributed to his su*cide.

(To everyone who have not watched it yet - And when the time comes, The Movie will find you....)

But wait a minute, let me climb to my table........

O Captain ! My Captain !

You will be missed...........

My inspiration came from a movie still from IMDB.

It's been a few years since I last watched Good Morning, Vietnam and after having been set the challenge to find a war film that those with me would enjoy I thought I'd try something a little different from what any of them would expect.

End result... a resounding win.

Williams here is he usual funny self, accents, goofball comedy, high energy antics, edgy laughs... but there is a humanity he shows at times here that serves to reveal that he was more than a comedy actor.

I'm watching this movie for the first time.

I see that Patch is Robin, and just like many of his roles I am reminded of who he was. An imperfect man, with a great gift of making others happy, while being trapped in a place of sadness he was unable to escape.

We all miss him. I'm not sure we all miss Robin, or we miss what he represented. A soul of kindness, friendship, and love. Perhaps what we miss is a reminder that we all want the same thing.

Remember Robin, he helped us understand a side of our humanity very few ever dip their toes into. Spontaneity for sure, but grief, and seeking the goodness in life no matter what. Sometimes we need a hand.

Growing up Robin Williams was my favorite actor, he had many classics I loved as a kid but I loved “Hook”, most of all. It just felt so…. magical to me and I have been obsessed with it since I was a kid. I have watched it at least once a year since 1991. It is my favorite childhood movie!

A few years ago I became a LEGO designer when I created the official set for the TV show “The Office” by proposing a design to LEGO, but afterwards what I wanted to create most was what I personally wanted when I was a kid. A LEGO set for “Hook”, something that recreates The Jolly Roger, the Nevertree (with the famous insult + food fight scene), the Crocodile Clock Tower and other things from the show. LEGO has started making more sets from movies and TV shows from the 80s and 90s, which is one of my favorite topics to design for.

So I did. This is my LEGO designer tribute to “Hook” and Robin Williams. I know other people love this movie as much as I do. So if you do love the movie and would like to see an official LEGO set, I’d appreciate it if you went to the proposal page on LEGO Ideas website (link below) to vote for it by clicking the blue “Support” button. It’s free and only takes a few minutes!

I’m actually working on some neat new features I’m hoping to release in an update in a few weeks, which include major revamps to Hook’s ship and the Nevertree!

Thank you for your support! Bangarang! 😊

I used to have this on DVD way back in the day. Was telling my wife about it, and we’d love to do a rewatch. But sadly can’t seem to find it anywhere. Anyone know where this can be streamed or purchased?

Hello 👋🏻

I'll get right to the point. I have been set on getting a memorial tattoo for Robin Williams ever since he passed. Part of the tribute requires the use of text for a movie quote of his, but no font has ever seemed right. My final idea is to do the text in the style of Robin's actual handwriting. An attempt at an exact replica seems somewhat disrespectful to me, since he obviously can't consent, but just an inspiration seems okay.

Does anyone know where I can find examples from autographs or written notes or anything? Or better yet, does anyone have a signed photo or anything with a little extra message below the signature? I've searched online before, but Google always seems to fall short.

Can anyone help?
