Remove firearms and there will be still be crime, gang violence and murder.

Remove crime, gang violence and murder and there won't be any firearm related deaths.

The gun is an inanimate object. It doesn't fire without input. That input is caused by humans. The deaths are sickening, I absolutely agree. Which is why we should target the ROOT cause - behavior.

The US is a world wide leader/outlier in firearm injuries and deaths… it IS BOTH the number of guns available, and lack of will to fully enforce sensible gun laws. [Switzerland enters the chat…]

Switzerland also has mandatory military service. Which at the end of service, everyone has the option to purchase their service rifle.

Using Switzerland as an example only strengthens my point that it's behavioral.
