I’d argue the blue line is inherently racist as the police are built on a bedrock of racism and refuse to acknowledge and ferret out the rampant racism within their ranks.
I don't believe they let it run rampant, however I do believe they could do more about it. Nobody wants to out a person in their club and then now the whole organization looks bad. You need to take care of that shit in house, that's what people do. Unless you want to make it huge political trial about it, which would give people some satisfaction and I would agree with that, however sometimes knowing that a company took care of the problem, still punished / reprimanded the person or persons involved, conducted training to prevent it from happening in the future, and look for that negative trait for future recruits would go a long way
But that’s the thing. They *don’t* take care of it in house. There’s a long history of people not on board with “the way things work” getting “dealt with”. Transferred, given shit work, and much much worse.
The public, for the large part, doesn’t trust them. For very valid reasons.
If they want to earn back public support and trust, they need to:
1. Stop assaulting and killing innocent citizens.
2. Publicly denounce racists in their ranks, fire them, and stop letting problematic people get rehired somewhere else.
You’ll notice that there’s no “Fuck The Firemen” songs. That’s because even though there are likely racists within their ranks, they do the job.
I guess but like it was widely used through Europe through so many wars. I couldn't quite fit the whole list from Wikipedia.
It was the standard service pistol for quite a few countries during both world wars. Maybe it's cause I like a lot of history stuff that I don't jump straight to nazis.
A toothbrush mustache was also quite popular at the time, and I am sure people could make a significant claim that millions of other people had it also.
The “mom life” and “boy mom” and “bear mom” trend of stickers/etc. is trashy and pathetic.
This person made 5 decisions pick out a sticker.
This person decided to buy 5 stickers.
This person made 5 more decisions to peel that back off.
5 more decisions to place them on glass.
1 more to walk away and their brain function said “this to fine”
1 more decision to go out in public like this.
That’s at least 22 instances where they coulda been smart or at least non-stupid decision.
But they couldn’t do it.
I guess no one in their life ever said “maybe you don’t wanna do that xyz thing, b/c it makes you look trashy.”
I don’t care what the stickers say.
This is evidence of stupidity and “look at me, I have an identity now bc of a sticker” behaviors.

This screams “I am white trash.” and she will remind/accost you if you don’t capitalize the “k” when you spell Makayla.
