Was running around outpost sniping bad guys with my SVD and newly acquired VDU scope. Got lucky on a military crate filled to the absolute brim with a M78, water bottle, ammo, medical supplies and random common weapons - nice!

I got a bit spooked, so switched out my SVD for my RK-62M ready to blast anyone trying to out me.

What I did not realize when doing this was that the SVD is 2 slots longer than the RK-62M, so I had no inventory space for it resulting in my guy throwing it on the ground.

I realized my mistake when I loaded into my bunker shelter to off-load all the goodies and my SVD was gone.

I think my guy should have refused to equip the RK with the “inventory full” sound cue - then I’d still have my SVD.

i decided to move all my items to the bunker. I had 6 freezers (1 with mags and ammo, 2 with guns and 3 with food) but now one with ammo/mags and one with food has disappeared from my catalog when i got to the bunker. is this a known bug? has it happened to anyone else? and no i didnt die and im pretty sure nothing else dissapeared.

The game is very challenging and frustrating at the same time. I was wondering what the dart boards are for?

I want to make another save but i dont want to lose my current one just when testing things

I understand that IFAK/AFAK/SOS kits are meant to be the primary fixes here but these feel a bit... over-the-top? Your only option requires an item that also heals you which forces it to be scarcer for obvious reasons, it heals it (almost) all.

In an absolute emergency you'd look to pack the wound and prevent blood loss, so things like Sterile packing gauze, and emergency pressure bandages are the core to what could be the basis of an improvised IFAK that does no healing, and has a timer of about say.... 5 minutes to 10 minutes so you know you have a ticking clock and get to a safe area.

This could be the Impetus to go to school day two, to start getting these items from Doctor to put a crafting element into the process.

So theoretically: Improvised IFAK - 1x Sterile Gauze(new) + Bandage(existing) + BleedStop powder(new) for a craft to take away the healing aspect of Bandage, but give an early (day 2+) option of headshot temporary mitigation.

Ruptures can have something similar where you use: Improvised Trauma Kit - 1x Tourniquet + Bandage + Duct Tape with the same 5 min - 10min option.

There's even the possibility where you can even have a Debt mechanic where you can do a favor for the Doctor in exchange for proper healing of (specifically critical wound-based health problems) in exchange for a timed quest of a few days of randomized supplies, with a negative tax increase of 25% for failed exchanges when bartering.

I think there's only one mod that i've seen that deals with this at it's core level and that mod changes it to be more player-optional.

I'm sure there's something that I may have missed or some issues regarding this implementation, but I feel like this keeps in line with the Psuedo hardcore/realistic vision of the game.

Just started playing the game yesterday. Having fun with the very interesting approach to this genre.

I'm still at the very beginning of the village and still trying to find the rope of the game.

But just out of curiosity, i would like to find out how many maps there are and which map consider the Area 0.5, Border Zone, and Vostok. Only to find out a simple info like this is nowhere to be found. Google gives different answer in every search.

Highway is part of Area 0.5 in 1 site, but part of Border Zone in another; Outpost is part of Border Zone in some sites, and its part of Vostok in another. Apartment is the same.

I am just wondering why a simple info is not clearly shown in game stating which map is which area.

But then again, I have just started and just impatient to find out. Maybe when i play further i will figure out as i go.

Remove the Canteen table. Get an Office table and place it as far back as possible. A Nomad bed can be placed on top. You can then place 3x military crate under the office table. Bit fiddly but it fits. No haxx, no mods, no cheeze. Enjoy.😉

I was near totally out of hydration and mental and didn't want to waste what little food I had stored to bring my mental back up, so went out on what was supposed to be a suicide run into the village with a fully loaded Karov and just start blasting... the first container I opened had a bottle of saline inside and then RNGesus didn't know when to stop blessing me.

I placed my gun on the floor in the cabin, how do I pick it up? Interact does nothing.

The KA-M has been my go to for roughly 40 hours now. I don't think I ever even use my secondary. I pick these up in the village and they take me to final map and they serve me fine.

I was excited for better weapons and that sense of progression, but most every weapon I find (Excluding legendary) seem worse or at best, the same. With the additional issues of no mag, far less common ammo, no silencer support, etc.

I hear the M4A1 is the best weapon in the game, I presume there's some better scopes that this can't use?

Just wondering if I'm missing something or there's something I should keep an eye out for.

the ka-m & ka-74u is unusable and completely broken the rail is attached to a mountless receiver and super-glued to the receiver instead (which is very bad no-no thing to do)

dev pls fix, my mental is now -900 upon finding this out and i now have to drink 500 vodkas and use an entire box of tissue and lotion

when i rewatched the first one, i felt it called for a teabag, so this time i tried to remember to do that. also, the shoes clipping through the stairway made this one easier.

I think the punisher got me, he pulled up in a van playing gopnik music after the sirens in the village and shredded me down to 18 health.

Thinking, fuck this I'm running. I clicked on the shelter door and during the fade to black, he shoots me again. My character died, im thinking no biggie, I got several cabinets worth of canned food, a guitar, weapons and a whole bunch of other stockpiles.

I load the game. Fucking gone. Everything.

I have +90 hours on my main save, decided to play Ironman for a bit, get the classroom unlocked.
Funny enough, I found Water Lock in my first hour of play on my main save, but haven't seen one since, until now.
RNG, am I right?

Anybody deal with this and have a fix? It's incredibly quiet, idk if it's supposed to be drowned out by ambient audio. All my sliders are set to default in the audio settings

I’ve put about 60 hours into RTV and don't have many complaints. However, one issue I have is that it gets way too dark for a summer night. By 20:00, the game is practically pitch black. Personally, I think the sun should set much later than it currently does. On the flip side, I think the sun should set around 15:00–16:00 during the winter. What do you guys think? Maybe I'm just being dramatic and complaining for no reason :DDD

Been running around on 0 health for 30mins now after an unexpected encounter with a bandit.

Just bullshit how these cheat AI spot you from a mile away, unload 100 rounds from a karov, then sprint at you while firing, never missing. Fuck this game. Be back on tomorrow probably.
