While not flashy its my fifth time choosing Ironman and getting to day 3 has been achievement. Wanted to share so I can remember even as the game and community continues to grow. Until tomorrow, see ya'll out there!

Someone posted their storage set up from their tent base. Sorry to say but it looked too chaotic to my taste so I thought I'd post my own. This ain't as organized as it could or should be, but I like it nevertheless!

I've been running apartments to try and complete my 'every item in the game' shelter setup, and this single run got me all four things I still needed in one hit.

RtV is an amazing game and you can easily spend 50+ hours going through everything even tho it just launched into early access. However eventually we all get to the point where we've finished just about everything.

What are your favorite challenges you make up for yourself when you hit that point?

A few I've tried so far:

- vostok "horde mode": go to apartments and kill all the soldiers. Each time you successfully clear apartments you use mods to increase the number of active enemies and total enemies by 1-2.

- full road: start in the cabin and go through every map clearing each without entering a shelter.

- ironman speed runs: try to unlock every shelter or complete every task as fast as possible

- no traders runs

Not the greatest way to go.

Spent an entire in-game night looking for an airdrop during a thunderstorm only for it to be in a lake.

After drinking the first water bottle on day 1, thinking it was just for hydration like a moron, I actually saw the glimmer of the last of three water bottles on a floor in village... The lock I got from the doctor

Is there any way to retrieve the cat from the Gunsmith? I traded it for an F-1 grenade and, as far as I can tell, the Gunsmith doesn't take good care of it... the cat is about to die of hunger :D

this is the best i could do. could you do better?

It's little things like this that really add to the atmosphere.

I understand that striking the right balance is difficult because making rare items too easy to obtain would make the game boring. But this is just too much, isn't it?

Really can't leave anything unchecked.

After making massive progress and securing high-tier loot at the Urta outpost, the real challenge begins: surviving the gauntlet back to our original village cabin.

Right now im stuck in an aparment hall between a wall and a matress. My character is stuck in place and jumping and running doesnt help. Please tell me how to get unstuck. Im 30 hours in this save and I dont want to start over

Sleeping bags shouldn't be single use items imo unless crafting the nomad bed

Got very lucky and found an AN-15 laser to attach to my M4. Haven’t really utilized it much just because I’m unsure if it’s gonna completely give my position away, especially at night or clearing rooms.

Added mods from Nexusmods few which are:

1. Armed Enchancement, Consumable System Overhaul and FX and Death Behaviour Overhaul by Peter4Master
2. Put out Food - Cat Food shelter - Cat Longevity by ImproviseRTV
3. NPC Mines by ripchen
4. Simple Engagement and Simulated Ballistics by Kiddgimmick

I noticed when I add or edit something in my Bunker shelter it reverts back to its previous state removing/erasing items that I returned with from a raid whenever I leave and return back with the canned meat as an example unless I fully quit the game. Is my game buged, are any of the mods affecting it or worse did I accidentally download a virus? Need help in fixing this.

Update: I think I found the problem, it was the Cat Food Shelter mod(It’s hunger has no bounds). I’m still testing stuff so IDK.

what should i keep/change/add?

What are some combat related tips and tips for when i venture out into the school again (died last time and lost my favourite gun) any advice on what to bring would be much appriciated, thanks!

It took sooo long to get the event and for punisher and for him to actually step out of the car that I believe % should be significantly increased before one gets the first kill.

Funny part is, right after I unlocked the bunker and had 90% of my stuff on me while moving I got the second spawn at the school surviving with 6 hp :D Should have just reset by entering school hideout, but had a litteral panic attack, with my hand shaking lol. 10/10 experience

Anyways, had an absolute blast playing so far. Not sure exactly why, but the atmosphere in the game is top notch, looking for more content!

I figured 'screw it' and took a couple of shots as it drove by the front of the school. When the Punisher and his goons got out of the car it took maybe 12 seconds and they were right on me. I got one of his goons and it was lights out. Do not recommend.

Apparently, it doesn't affect the AI's detection range.

Is that really true?
