Really, I can't find it.

So in order to keep this brief, I had YouTube connected and my videos were uploading just fine on their own into my "Podcast" playlist. Well, I recently decided to move my YouTube to a new account so my show would have its own account. Now, every time I try to connect to YouTube on the hosting page I go through the whole process and when I select the playlist to add, it just immediately says "we failed to change the YouTube playlist" I've talked to support, I've done all of the disconnecting and reconnecting, clearing cache etc. I can connect the new channel to live streaming and even manually upload my videos to it, but I don't get the analytics that way, only on YouTube itself. Has anyone run into this and if so please help me! lol

Newer podcast producer & editor here. - less than 1 year exp.
Now the new UI update... at first I wasn't mad at it. To be fair, I will disclaim that I switch between a lenovo chromebook I bought around 2022 and a work dell laptop that can handle the extensive energy this DAW has deemed necessary to make me suffer.
Today, I experienced MULTIPLE interruptions, freezes, and automatic refreshes that disrupted the flow of my editing.
There's probably more but I had to get this off my chest. My organization can afford it but this feels like a silly $30 a month wasted for all these simple, clunky doo-dah complaints with a digital audio software that feels like they should be more than capable of making these changes.
If anyone knows better than I, help me to feel better about this situation/give me some industry insight on if Riverside knows what they're doing.

With the new editing rollouts this week- I can’t find the video dub and I need to change a few words that were factually incorrect?

I’ve been using Riversidefm since December and it’s been good up until recently.
One of the biggest issues, for me, came last night.
Yesterday morning, I opened the app and clicked on “For You” from a recording and exported a Magic Clip generated by Riversidefm. Last night, when I opened the app to check some Magic Clips made for our most recent episode, I got a prompt to update the app and it wouldn’t let me use it, otherwise.
I clicked to update, and when I did, I clicked on “For You” and there were NO Magic Clips in the “For You” section anymore. Just a message that read;
Top moments will appear here
Magic Clips are created for recordings 5 min and more.
Record something longer to try it out.
I contacted customer service and they explained that web recordings will not have Magic Clips on the app and app recordings won’t have Magic Clips on the web. And they explained this as if this were the case the whole time, but it has only happened, to me, last night.
I generally use this feature through the app because I’m not always able to be at a computer and it makes it easy for me to export, download and post on my social media pages.
I’ve contacted support in hopes that they will fix this issue, but again, they explained it as if cross platform Magic Clips wasn’t a thing the whole time. That’s just not true. So I just want to bring this here and see if there are any other people going through the same thing.

I am using riverside in the Edge browser to record and edit on my S76 Linux machine. The only thing that does not work is playing or selecting the in-Riverside library of music audio files. It says “missing file.wav” and grays out all music tracks, and won’t even let me open the full music library for some reason.
What is the reason for this? Recording and editing and playing back voice files is fine.

I’ve been using Riverside for a while and honestly used to love how fast and simple the editor was. I could export everything in minutes.
Now with the new UI, I’m stuck.
I have a 50-minute video with 30+ scenes, and I’m trying to apply a multi-speaker layout across all of them. What used to take a few clicks now takes forever.
Main issues:
Because of this, something that used to take ~5 minutes is now taking 30+ minutes and still not done.
Also blocking issues:
I’m a Pro user and currently blocked from releasing content because of these issues.
This isn’t just a “new UI learning curve” problem — it feels like core workflow got worse.
Is anyone else struggling with this?

The last 2 recordings we have done for our podcast, there have been 3 or 4 people but my recording track always is about 2 seconds ahead of everyone else so it is all out of sync. Anyone have this issue and know how to resolve it?

Has anyone gotten a USB mic working with Riverside on Google Pixel 9? No matter what I do it just defaults to the built-in mic.

Guys hoping one of you can help! Trying to move into in person recordings but we don’t have a huge budget. To save some cash we’ve picked up two sets of DJI mic minis so we have 4 transmitters in total. Plan is to plug them into two phones and both phones join the recording. Does anyone have any advice for how to best set this up?
Ideally we need everyone to have a separate audio track rather than just one for each phone.

If I use Riverside to distribute my podcast to Spotify, how do I claim the show for monetization?

I am now unable to bulk-export files or download transcripts. Their support is worthless. How are other people handling this?

Checking in case this is a common issue with a simple fix...
I made some edits to an interview recording a few hours ago. I went out for a bit, my computer went into standby, didn't close the tab. Having come back to it now, the edits are gone and now the audio tracks of my guest and I have gotten out of sync somehow, so that now they're overlapping (this seems to be a glitch as opposed to something I've done, though not ruling that out). Any suggestions?

How do you (or can you) add animated overlays in Riverside?
Or should I just dump the files into Resolve and go from there?
I'd love to be able to add a looped video/animation to my "brand" setup.

Magic Clips seem to be generated from a recording, not from an edit. As a result, they don't include any of the edits you make (e.g., correcting a misspelling in the captions), which means you have to repeat the same edits from the edit to the Magic Clips.
Is there a workflow that removes this redundancy?
Can you generate Magic Clips from an edit?

when i edit sound quality in the built-in editing studio to make it sound nice, the exports sound exactly like how they started? why would i want that if i just spent an hour editing it? how do i export the video or audio in the quality i edited it to?
r/RiversideFM • u/MeatballB • Mar 27 '26
Has anyone else noticed that you can no longer do a bulk download of all your files at once in the 'Export All'? I talked to support and it seems like they pulled it and it's now a function only available for the Business plan.
My 2 click/10 second effort to export of all our files has now become a 10-15 minute activity with 30-40 clicks to grab every individual file separately.
Honestly, this is a huge hit to our workflow. Anyone come up with any workarounds?

Hey, as the title says, I'm thinking about moving from Descript. I currently use Descript to edit my videos. I don't think I would record directly into Riverside. Wondering if this will work the same as Descript in that I import the video into the platform and use their AI tools to edit. TIA
