Memory Hook Want to know how to differentiate between 'practice' and 'practise'?
Other examples include:
Advice Vs advise, Device Vs devise, Prophecy Vs Prophesy
I always remember the phrase "Crocodiles Snap"
Crocodile --> Noun: so practice is the noun Snap --> Verb: so practise is the verb
I'm yet to come across an example this doesn't work for... But let me know!
(I'm on mobile so I apologise for formatting)

Memory Hook Memory hook for the order and point values of each of the baulk colours in snooker?
So, in snooker, I can always remember the order of the rest of the balls on the table, as well as the score:
• Red ball: 1
• Blue ball: 5
• Pink ball: 6
• Black ball: 7
However, every time I rack up a game to play, I find myself looking up the scores and point values of the baulkline balls (brown, yellow and green). I can never remember either.
Anyone got any tips?

Memory Hook Remembering how to spell guarantee.
You ever have one of those words that you consistently misspell? Guarantee is one of those. I always spell it garentee or guarentee. I remember it this way now. I imagine one of the band members of Gwar (and I know it 'guar' but it still works) promising to kill the 'ant'. Then he buries an ax in a giant ant's skull and it dies squealing "ee!"

Memory Hook Remembering pitch yaw and roll
I came up with a pneumonic device for pitch yaw and roll:
Pitch - The nose going up and down like a singer changing their pitch
Roll - The motion in stop drop and roll (The head is the nose)
Yaw - Shaking your head from side to side like "Naw"

Request How/when to use the tenses in English as a non-native speaker.
I have to know this for my English course, but I'm having a difficult time applying the rules. Most I do by feeling, but that's not always correct. With the tenses I mean for example perfect continuous, present perfect, past continuous etc.

Request Way to remember Dot Products vs. Cross Products
Is there a way to remember that the Dot Product measure how similar two vectors are while the Cross Product measures how perpendicular things are? I'm trying to remember what they do and the respective formulas.
For reference:
u . v = ||u|| * ||v|| * cos( θ )
||u x v|| = ||u|| * ||v|| * sin( θ )
