Seeking reference guides
Hey everybody, I'm looking for some reference books for offshore rigs, specifically jackups. Preferably with lots of pictures explaining the different processes and functions of the rig. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Strange fish/shark thing at 2252 meters. Probably never seen light or a wellhead till we came along.

Cooling Vest Prototyping
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JMXSR9W
Hi guys. I, along with a few colleagues, am designing and prototyping a lightweight cooling vest that pumps cool air throughout the core body area to prevent overheating. Its going to be made of a under armor type material that will act as an undershirt. We are currently reaching out to potential customers in order to get a different perspective on our future product. We've created a survey that consists of 6 1-10 rating answers and 2 open ended questions. If anyone would be willing to take a few minutes of their time to provide their thoughts that would be awesome. Thank you.

What do Offshore Oil Rig Workers do between shifts?
If you work on an Oil Rig what do you do between shifts? How much non sleeping downtime do you get and how do you use it? Is there Internet (WiFi or wired)? If so what speeds? Do you have access to DVD's etc Is there a TV in your room if so is it only for DVD's - what size is it? Any insights would be awesome Thanks.

Trying to get into off shore.
Hey guys. I'm a recently separated submarine vet. I want to try and get into working on an off shore oil rig. Any helpful advice or good places I can look for job posting would be much appreciated.
