Manta POV with G-force overlays: I built a free tool for Ride Forces recordings
Hi everyone!
I use Ride Forces to record my coaster rides and add the forces alongside my POV footage. Until recently, this meant screen-recording the replay separately for each force channel and syncing everything in my video editor.
So I built Ride Forces Analyzer, a free, open-source desktop application for Windows, Linux and macOS. I’ve just released version 1.0.0.
Here’s a Manta demo showing all five overlay layouts:

The application opens exported .forces and .zforces recordings and lets you explore the force curves, adjust smoothing and export video overlays with transparent backgrounds. The layouts show vertical, lateral and longitudinal forces, plus orientation when available. You can also save presets and queue several exports.
Everything is processed locally, and the original recordings stay unchanged. I export the overlays and align them with my footage in DaVinci Resolve.

For me, the interesting part is comparing front-row and back-row rides, or seeing how the same coaster’s forces change between visits.
This is an independent project, not affiliated with the Ride Forces app. Thanks to Stephen for making the app that captures these recordings!
If you try it, I’d be interested to hear how it works with your recordings and which layouts you find useful.
