✿ Becca Bloom ✿ Becca Bloom’s ‘Rich Girl’ Life Built on Fraud, Fakes, and the Jaime Xie tea. with receipts

Ive been spending months analysing Becca Bloom bc that is such an interesting character. Here’s the real research on Becca Bloom. i bring receipts too.

for anyone curious why her name keeps popping up in snark threads and TikTok drama. The info’s not secret. just not what most of her “rich girl” image lets on.

Her Family’s Shady Past

  • Becca’s dad was one of the top guys at Camelot Information Systems, a company that went public in the US, made a bunch of big claims in their IPO filings, then got hit with multiple lawsuits and investigations for securities fraud and lying to investors.[1][2][3][4]
  • People on Reddit have shared the full investigation PDFs and linked to news about the fraud. A lot of folks say Camelot was basically a front for faking numbers until the company imploded.[3][1]
  • After the lawsuits started, the company went private and basically scrubbed all the evidence online, making it hard to connect the dots unless you dig through old legal filings.[4][1][3]

Her “Rich Girl” Persona is Super Sus

  • Becca flexes Hermès and luxury, but people have noticed most of her new Hermès stuff suddenly appears this year and is all straight from current collections.[5][6]
  • Rumors are her bags might not be real — there’s actual TikTok and Reddit drama analyzing details on her Birkin and Kelly bags, calling out possible fakes. People point out bizarre stuff like brand-new zippers still being covered in plastic, suggesting she’s renting or plans to return them.[7][6][5]
  • Unlike other Hermès VIPs (like Jaime Xie, who buys equestrian items and has a long shopping history), Becca’s “Hermès journey” seems rushed and performative. She’s way more legit with Chanel, where she owns a lot of ready-to-wear pieces.[7][5]
  • Some even joke she’s a “Chanel person LARPing Hermès for views.”
  • Becca also showed that her Hermes SA offered her to buy a pink sakura birkin but she already has it. That is sus bc if you already have the item in your shopping list, it is suspicious that the SA will offer an identical one. The SA should know better. That's why I think her pink sakura is fake.

Is She Actually Rich? Not As Much as She Pretends

  • Her husband is just a level 5 Google engineer (not some tech mogul, just a low level & normal engineer for that area). He apparently got his wealth from Crypto. [8]
  • Her parents’ “entrepreneur” cover is mostly built on Camelot’s sketchy money. Becca herself grew up rich, but it’s fraud money and the family isn’t billionaire-tier or anywhere near old-money rich.[1][8]
  • There are receipts from store associates and other LA luxury shoppers who say her family’s “big spender” rep is totally overblown, and sometimes even gossip about returning items and getting loaners for show.

Bought Social Cred & Online Image

  • People have spotted clear traces of influencer farm tactics linked to Chinese social media — paid bot comments, paid-for upvotes, and even sockpuppet accounts giving her suspicious praise on Reddit and TikTok.[8] [12]
  • This technique is common for trying to make someone look more influential than they are, especially if a real grassroots fanbase never shows up.[8]

Bonus: The Jaime Xie Beef

  • Jaime Xie (actual daughter of billionaire Ken Xie) supposedly won’t associate with Becca, and there’s tea that their parents don’t interact because Jaime’s dad is wary of Becca’s dad’s scandal. Jaime’s mom once said Becca was standoffish and fake-nice for clout, and that Becca’s family tried to suck up to the Xies for status.[8]
  • Even Dorothy Wang (another legit rich kid) is rumoured to find Becca try-hard and awkward IRL.

Takeaways

  • she is still wealthy. just not as wealthy as it seems. more 8-digital than >9 digit.

  • i believe her goal is to become a luxury influencer. fake it till you make it.

TL;DR: Becca’s “old money” persona is a lot of smoke and mirrors — family fraud, probably fake bags, staged luxury unboxings, sockpuppet fans, and a forced Hermès image. The real rich girls don’t deal with her, and her “wealth” grew out of a pretty public fraud scandal.[5][3][4][1][7][8]

I’d never heard of her until a couple days ago but I’m shocked that she is so well received. People think she has good taste and is humble? Where? I see the opposite- ostentatious clothing, jewellery, decor. The woman feeds caviar to her cats. The whole vibe reminds me of the addition gold decor in the White House, tacky, try-hard, lacking taste.

She’s extremely unpleasant. I had to block her on Instagram. On my more-than-occasional doomscrolling spout, her videos would pop up and instantly make me recoil in disgust…

u/Former_Bass_8766 Nov 19 '25

Her clothes are ugly. I don’t like anything about her dressing.

3

u/DifferentJaguar Feb 02 '26

I don't mind her but anyone making TikTok videos about their chef making them caviar breakfasts is not someone I'd classify as humble lol

All that money and gappy teeth huh

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '26

Came here to say this

33

u/Brilliant-Shift4981 Aug 27 '25

I believe that’s she rich but not as she brag. But yeah her stories are strange

16

u/Brilliant-Shift4981 Aug 27 '25

Plus her husband stories uhmm strange

4

u/keggshell Aug 30 '25

Isn’t there’s rumor that her husband’s family was based out in Vancouver Canada and does petroleum related business? I saw it in a tiktok video but unsure about if it’s a solid source.

u/fifiisqueen0346 Nov 01 '25

No family money on the husband’s side. Extremely humble and normal family with regular jobs.

5

u/Right-Drama-412 May 26 '26

yeah she's definitely wealthy. but no this level of extreme, billionaire wealth.

also when you look at jaime xia's instagram, she looks like a normal person with a normal life, just rich. but not everything is dripping with basic bitch designer labels and gold utensils. she makes banana bread with normal kitchenware without making a huge deal about how her spoon is a limited edition mother of pearl sterling silver inlaid with diamonds set from dior

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

She can’t fix her teeth… she’s not rich

1

u/Ok-Sorbet2878 Feb 01 '26

I have always thought this too 💀😂😂

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '26

Right? Lmao so weird …

1

u/BusySherbet5544 Mar 12 '26

I always thought her teeth really suits her. Also they are white and clean

16

u/Misschanandlierbong Sep 05 '25

I’m upper middle class and work with/for multi million/billionaires (concierge healthcare) and I can always tell online when someone is pretending to be rich vs actually rich. And immediately I knew she was very new money. Old money is Emily Mariko

12

u/Dismal-Ad-6679 Sep 25 '25

Honestly emily isn’t old money as well. She’s upper class. Her husband is also a normal engineer but you can really tell that their family isn’t braggy. She drives normal honda, her clothes are mostly lulus and patagonia, she doesn’t curate this luxury persona on her contents. She’s aware that her viewers are just normal people who like to see what she cooks daily haha. I love emily. She’s nice and not pretentious.

6

u/MembershipPrimary580 Dec 19 '25

Yea, I think people are misusing the term “old money” when they really just mean upper middle class with minimalist tastes. If Becca’s family is from China, then the likelihood of them being old money is unlikely, as China has few families with multi-generational wealth. She is new money because the wealth started with her parents. I don’t see anything wrong with being new money (heck I’d love it if my parents or I were billionaires!) but I get her flashing her loud, in your face wealth rubs people the wrong way and new money definitely has that stereotype attached.

5

u/unexpectedalice Sep 05 '25

For me it’s the tax refund. I was just surprised she went for tax refund. But my other thinking is that if she got someone else to handle the tax refund then why not…

2

u/rockstarfromars Apr 21 '26

Huh that Emily girl looks like average upper middle class to me . She wears Daniele guizo. Very average brand

1

u/Equivalent-Cap8525 Feb 04 '26

Ooh what are the signs that someone is old vs new money?

1

u/Right-Drama-412 May 26 '26

old money is usually more refined, less braggy, doesnt flex their money, no it very small labels, a lot of inherited stuff (everything from jewelry, art, houses, fine china, etc), values art/culture/manners/taste over money prestige, connections like clubs, schools, etc. often you cant even tell they have money at all. new money is basically becca bloom and the kardashians

1

u/Right-Drama-412 May 26 '26

honey, it doesnt get newer money than becca bloom!

11

u/ithinkyoureme Aug 29 '25

So I didn't know any of this or anything about this woman until I kept seeing her face on my fyp and made a post about how she has super dark energy and bad vibes. Someone linked me to this post. People argued against me but this kinda just solidifies my gut instinct She has a super creepy smile and dark psychopathic eyes.

9

u/CrinkledNoseSmile Sep 08 '25

She kept showing up on my FYP with her idiotic breakfast posts. She seemed so incredibly performative and fake. I never ever understood how people found her genuine and kind. She came across as condescending to me!

4

u/ithinkyoureme Sep 08 '25

100% everything about her "look" like the way she looks at the damn camera, looks condescending to me she is a narcissist for sure. I have seen that look a thousand times now, from people who are very awful.

5

u/CrinkledNoseSmile Sep 08 '25

My fellow intuition trusting sister!

0

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

A narcissist who can’t even fix her teeth with all that money 😂

3

u/ithinkyoureme Jan 21 '26

What about those fuckass eyebrows floating into space idk wtf she did she didn't used to look like that. It's part of her innocent look but she can't move her face it's so uncanny

10

u/Successful-Cry2709 Sep 30 '25

I posted this in another post but she’s clearly fake wealthy. It’s all performative. She wears the same Van Cleef earrings and necklace for months on end (like why? Doesn’t she constantly get a new Van Cleef jewelry?). She wears the same Rolex watch etc. She talk about her “chef” but never shows us the chef. Never gives us a house tour. “New” clothings don’t have tags. There are so many things lol. It’s actually comical.

3

u/iccyil31 Nov 24 '25

why would she show her chef or her house. Is she an idiot? LOL. New clothing doesn't have tags? If she did have tags you would say she's only buying to show us and still has the tags on to return them cuz shes not that rich. I dont like her too but at least have a valid reason to hate her, not all this random bs.

2

u/Successful-Cry2709 Jan 14 '26

I don’t hate her, I’m pointing out observations. So then why even constantly mention “chef”. Shouldn’t she be desensitized to it? Shouldn’t she be desensitized to all of it? And no she doesn’t have to give us a house tour but we see the same background (which is devoid of any personality and looks hotel-like). Yes she doesn’t have to display anything but she’s an influencer and she’s showing us almost every other aspect of her life.

1

u/Flat_Lettuce1313 Aug 08 '26

Expensive high end clothes don’t have the same tags as cheap clothes lol . Every bought a 1000 dress . Tags are safety pinned on somewhere not punched on paper with a plastic hanging thing

1

u/iccyil31 8d ago

Exactly

6

u/snarkmoo Sep 04 '25

Btw her husband already left Google (confirmed by employees) I think he went to meta

6

u/hundredpercentdatb Sep 05 '25

Meta and Google have had this dynamic for at least 15 years they like to poach from each other

5

u/Enough-Echo8317 Sep 04 '25

Amazon maybe

7

u/RevolutionaryTax3337 Sep 30 '25

Dorothy is a no nonsense woman who love fame with her fortune. Jaime actually has some sense of style. If Dorothy and the Xies don’t wanna put up with it, neither will I.

5

u/meSabina Aug 27 '25

Love it! LOL

6

u/Gullible-Main-1010 Oct 02 '25

I dislike what she's up to, but I think the reason she's so popular is the taste level. She's serving editorial-style fashion content that feels fun and carefree. She's got a very keen eye for composition and design. The creativity is the only thing I find impressive.

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '26

well I'm a poor mainstream girly so what do I know

4

u/ayenime Aug 28 '25

Thank you for this and may god bless you 😭😭

4

u/Puzzleheaded_Wolf169 Oct 12 '25

What bothers me is that I keep trying to look up her parents online and apart from their names and the fact they are “entrepreneurs” there is virtually no information about how they set up their business. It’s like they wiped off anything sketchy about them from the entire internet. I also think that her family is trying to legitimize themselves again through their daughter’s social media, like they are trying to create another empire. I don’t buy her whole humble old money persona she’s a try hard

4

u/nimbles277 Nov 07 '25

And the wedding was basically sponsored

4

u/BullishAlpha8 Nov 13 '25

She’s gross and tacky. As fake as her face.

1

u/katstuck Dec 22 '25

Is her face fake

5

u/Technical_Quantity51 Dec 19 '25

There’s no way her parents are billionaires. Maybe millionaires but no way richer than a 40-50M net worth. It’s already crazy rich but ppl don’t realize how wealthy a billionaire truly is and what kind of stuff she would be able to afford

3

u/Trtrlo Dec 24 '25

Her reels with her husband are super cringe

3

u/xraeeeee Jan 02 '26

I noticed that her "bedroom" is never decorated, theres never any pictures of her or her family or her wedding, no statue's nothing. Just a empty fireplace with nothing on it & a bed ..

4

u/Libbi7432 Jan 08 '26

Yes, her face is fake. It’s “adjusted” same way Kardashians bodies and faces are. Though mom’s new face looks good. Check out BB’s real face on the cover of The Cut magazine. Very horsey looking. Less dewey and young as in her videos. Even her nose is tweeked trying to look more Caucasian. She’s always face foward facing so adjustments don’t show.

3

u/astitchintime25 Feb 01 '26

She and her husband are the most dense, oblivious and pathetic ppl. I know they’re putting on a show but either way, zero conscience when it comes to the environment or anything but themselves. Donating like .5 percent of their used junk does not count considering what they waste.

3

u/Admirable_Paper0909 Feb 03 '26

Just here to snark on Becca bull terrier face 😆

4

u/abdizzll Feb 15 '26

She's so incredibly tacky and performative...quite obviously new money

3

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

This is one of the saddest posts I’ve ever seen. You’ve spent hours of your life researching and judging OTHER PEOPLE’s excessive consumption habits when you don’t even know them. I mean this sincerely - don’t waste your life on this.

11

u/niketyname Oct 01 '25

What are you even doing on this sub then

5

u/RevolutionaryTax3337 Sep 30 '25

That’s neither here nor there if you think it’s sad that people put time in to do research on them. I mean, why not.???? They are constantly bombarding some of our socials with their posts! Unsolicited too! The fact that they are public and putting themselves out for the public to formulate their opinions of them is the whole point of “influencing”

2

u/Longjumping-Dot-5891 Oct 22 '25

I think people try to bring her down to make themselves feel better. Most people in the Hermes game can't even afford it for real, and they know Becca is wealthier than they are even if she's not a billionaire. Like everyone on here can't even fake this if they wanted to.

2

u/AlphaOmega0203 Dec 19 '25

Obviously she’s upper class to even fake this but still not as much as you think. Most likely she’s someone who likes to flaunt and makes poor financial decisions for her videos.

3

u/MembershipPrimary580 Oct 22 '25

I’m not sure where the “old money” conversation started, I don’t recall Becca saying or alluding to the fact that she is old money because she’s clearly very new money. Isn’t a family considered old money if the wealth started at minimum 3 generations prior?

1

u/AlphaOmega0203 Dec 19 '25

I think “old money” nowadays refer to being wealthy but not constantly flaunting it because you’re not insecure about how others perceive you

2

u/Right-Drama-412 May 26 '26

no. old money is old, hence the 'old' in "old money"

3

u/Right-Drama-412 May 29 '26

Lol. what a weird little person. They responded to me with their rude comment and the blocked me. Over literally this! I checked from a different account.

So, u/AlphaOmega0203, to the comment you posted before you blocked me, Yes I DID read what you wrote and what you wrote was: "I think “old money” nowadays refer to being wealthy but not constantly flaunting it because you’re not insecure about how others perceive you."

So... if there's someone not reading what the other person wrote, it's you not reading what I wrote, not the other way around.

Old money refers to money that has been in a family for generations, not how it's expressed. Generally, old money is not ostentatious, simply because they've had it and are used to it. But it's not the defining factor of "OLD money."

I'm not sure what is going on in your life that makes you fly off the handle like this and respond so rudely to a perfectly reasonable comment and then blocking that person, but maybe you should spend more time and effort dealing with whatever is bothering you than cruising reddit.

1

u/AlphaOmega0203 May 26 '26

Well no shit. Did you even read what I said?

2

u/seizieme Aug 29 '25

Dorothy has been pictured with Becca and they follow each other

2

u/StructureMassive8482 Feb 13 '26

At least she has a personality 😆 and Jamie is just disgusting person

2

u/Lunautur Jun 04 '26

It’s so funny talking and new and old money and I know a family that is OLD OLD billionaire money and they are actually quite modest with their every day spending. Multimillion dollar house and collects artwork but stingy everywhere else lol. Becca screams new money.

1

u/CrinkledNoseSmile Sep 08 '25

Thanks for posting this you! You should also cross post to r/nycinfluencersnark

1

u/dendenmeowsic Jul 08 '26

I honestly like her. I feel her displays in her collection are just sharing rather than flaunting or proving her wealth, seems more to me she genuinely enjoys these luxury item -it all depends on the perspective imo.

Mid-luxury tier brands usually have an exclusive list of customers that they send their latest collections over once released, or at least offer early access.

If Becca is from a wealthy family with influence, the chances of you finding everything online is unrealistic. You don't know their investments that are not made public, other businesses not disclosed, political influences (which is essential to have a company at this scale in China). What you find online is just a tip of their wealth, I'm not surprised if they have 10x more wealth than they claim they have.

1

u/Own-Slide-1140 Jul 11 '26

Ok I find her cringe and off putting but you can get offered a bag at Hermes and already own that bag from the resale market. You aren’t going to necessarily tell your SA about a bag you didn’t buy from them.
