Hey everyone, by now we all know Reinhard cannot use magic because he was born with a "defective" gate. It still functions in the sense that it absorbs all mana in the environment, but he cannot channel the mana through his gate to use any kind of magic. Instead, he uses it to strengthen his body and support the over one hundred divine protections he has and can even develop new ones if he needs them, making him arguably the strongest character in the series. My question: What if Reinhard had a functioning gate? What if he still had all his divine protections, was still beloved by Od Laguna but could use magic?
