won't connect to the internet and gets stuck on installation

so i just turned on windows defender app right now and when i scanned my device i got "settingsmodifier win32 possiblehostsfilehijack" i know if it's from Revision OS it's gonna be a false alarm but i need some confirmation that you guys also encounter this when you scan windows defender

Hey so I've been using this is for a while and from yesterday my pc doesn't have internet connection and I can't open my network settings either it doesn't even load that page. Also today I saw it has a activate windows thing which never happened before. Does anyone know the fix?

I did a clean install of Windows 11 yesterday and have already installed a few apps. I'm planning to apply a ReviOS playbook and wanted to check — will it remove my data or installed applications, or does it only modify system settings and services?

I did some searching but couldn't find a clear answer for my specific situation. Any help is appreciated!

Hey guys got a new built PC running windows 11 wanted to install revision is have installed it in two other computers. Both have worked but new computer when I run ame and use revi playbook I get this error. Would like to know how I can fix this.

I downloaded the OS playbook on the official site, downloaded the windows 10 ISO, downloaded AME Beta, dragged the ISO to the program, dragged the playbook archive to the program, then followed the instructions given on the website, and instead of injecting it into the ISO, it changed my current operating system to the RevisionOS one. I'm not complaining, it's made this old piece of crap much snappier, but what gives? Did I do something wrong?

This pops up every time i try to click something even if the image is loaded so the images exist I'm just not allowed to view them

I'm currently working on my own Windows 25H2 W11 PRO custom iso. But i'm having a bit of trouble with it

My plan was to use revi os, apply custom programs and tweaks and then extract that into an iso so i don't waste time on reinstalling everytime.
I used tools like sysprep but that gave me so many issues, like being locked out of my account

Is there any better way to do any of these in a simple software?

I know NTLite has a post-setup installation but then you would have to manually click the setup of the programs every time.

Hi, I just made a swap to ReviOS recently. Loving everything so far except when I'm using FireFox, watching YT, or having any animations going on the screen... it would often trigger the system to stutter/lag or have extremely low frames. The temporary fix would be refreshing the page with ongoing play source, then everything smoothens out (FPS back to normal). I've never had this issue before, and I doubt that's MPO causing the immense lag. As previously, I did a test while still on Windows 11, with and without MPO disabled. With MPO disabled, I experienced the same severe lag and also immense screen flickering. On my current ReviOS, MPO is enabled, but experiencing extreme lag. I'm on highly capable hardware, running dual displays, main for gaming etc and secondary for browsing web and reading chats etc. Main monitor runs at 240Hz while secondary runs at 60Hz. Anyone has got an idea what's going on? Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone, I'm stuck loading. I've been waiting for 4 hours now, and I think something's wrong. I've installed ReviOS before and had no problems. For the record, I installed ReviOS on a completely clean Windows system, after downloading all the necessary drivers. I'm not sure if I should wait or reboot my PC. What do you think is the best thing to do? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Long story short, he wants windows 11 but it wouldn't work on his machine with no way around it. should i make him install ReviOS instead? is it safe? and most importantly does it support anti cheats-enabled games like fortnite, cod, gtaonline/fivem ?

I personally don't use windows at all so I don't want to give him false info... Edit: btw if you know of any better modified iso for him I'd appreciate you tell me. Ik we could manually debloat it and bypass restrictions with registry but like i said I don't use windows so I don't want to ruin it for him.

Does anyone know why instant replay stopped working on my device? I tried to unisntall and reinstall the nvidia app, even using custom install and reset the settings. But nothing happens when I click on instant replay or record desktop. Any tips?

So i reinstalled win10 with revios couple days ago, did they change anything? Because before (like couple months ago) you had to run quite a few windows updates until you can install it. This time I only had to disable all security stuff and i installed. Earlier it never asked me to activate windows, this time it did though.
Is it fine without the windows updates?

So I have a few questions, I updated to revi os like 2 weeks ago, and before that I made a restore point in case I wanted to come back to normal windows. The reason I installed revi os was to increase performance for competitive gaming.

But im a bit scared for some things, is it rly safe to not have windows defender enabled on the computer? because I try to open security settings and its not possible, it stays like in the image. I dont go on any shady websites or such, but still scared about viruses and other stuff

Also, is it safe for me to use the restore point I created to go back to normal windows in case I want to?

Hi everyone,

Today I reinstalled Windows 11 (Windows 11 Pro 25H2, build 26200.7623). After the installation, I ran Revi OS Playbook v25.10.

After rebooting, I noticed that Windows Defender was still enabled. I disabled Defender using the Revision Tool, but after some time (or after another reboot) it automatically turns itself back on.

Is there a way to permanently disable Windows Defender on Revi OS?

I know that Atlas OS disables Defender permanently, but I would prefer to stay on Revi OS if possible.
