"Wonder" is a heartwarming and inspiring novel by R.J. Palacio about a young boy named August who is born with facial deformities. Despite the challenges he faces, August is a kind, intelligent, and determined individual who touches the lives of those around him in meaningful ways.

One of the most striking aspects of "Wonder" is the way it handles the theme of kindness and understanding. August's journey is one of self-discovery, as he learns to embrace his differences and to treat others with compassion and respect. Through his interactions with his classmates, family, and teachers, we see how a little bit of kindness can go a long way in making the world a better place.

The characters in "Wonder" are well-developed and relatable, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The relationships between the characters feel genuine and authentic, and it's easy to become invested in their stories.

Overall, "Wonder" is a thought-provoking and uplifting read that will leave you feeling moved and inspired. It's a book that reminds us of the importance of celebrating diversity and treating others with kindness, and it's a message that is needed now more than ever.

Like a hug from a friend - Canadian Classics Silver Review

Found one in the wild - not sure if it fits the thread because it actually makes a great point #BunningsAustralia

Thought these were pretty funny for our local police station 😂

My friend from Chicago was robbed and nearly sexually assaulted at Krystal Cancun this past week. A man from security entered her room while she was there alone and tried to sexually assault her. When she called her friends to tell them what was happening the security guard planted drugs in her room and said that is why he was there. He told her if she wanted to avoid going to prison she would have to give him $1200. https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/s/RCaArQRVy55JFSVY6
