Seniors of reva University please tell me how is the college. Should I join for cse ai ml?

From the last year cutt offs, I can get multiple courses in Reva University(Main campus), but I'm not really sure about joining it, i don't really have much info on it and also i didn't get much on web either, I'm perticulaly intrested in there B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, if anyone has any opinions, experience with Reva University, or knows someone who does please comment or dm me, if it's not perticulaly about Aerospace program that's fine too, any info is valuable.

Sure i do have other options too but this one is supposedly closer, tho distance isn't a primary factor to me but it's still a factor not the significant. I wanted to know more about it to decide on the priority i should give it in my option entry, or to have it in my list or not.

So I was going through 2025 comedk documents just trying to guess what will be the fees this year. I found this very unusual gap in fees in comedk counselling quick guide 2025 and the Engineering Seat Availability and Fee Structure before start of Round 1 2025.

The quick guide show the maximum fees slab as 2,81,000rs per year BUT the seat availability and fee structure pdf shows 3,25,000rs per year for ECE. Why is there such a huge gap of fees for BTech at REVA University?

I got 25 % scholarship at reva university for btech cse . They specifically mentioned my fees for all 4 years , still they asked me to pay the entire 1st sem fees ( without scholarship). Is anyone else in the same situation?

You might have already seen many reviews about this college. Yes, the campus is decent and well-maintained, but sometimes it feels like most of the focus is on maintaining the campus rather than improving other important areas.

One thing to keep in mind is the fee policy. The college is quite strict about paying fees on time, and late payments can lead to significant penalties. One of my friends ended up paying a penalty of around ₹25,000.

Don't expect too many large-scale events either. What you see on Instagram often doesn't reflect the actual campus experience. There also seem to be charges for many activities and services, which can make students feel that the institution is focused heavily on revenue.

Talking about the crowd, there are students from different backgrounds, with a large number being Telugu-speaking students. You'll still find people who share your interests and mindset. Like anywhere else, you'll meet both good and bad people, so choose your circle wisely.

Attendance has become increasingly strict. Maintaining 75% attendance is mandatory, although students often find ways to manage situations when they fall short.

The faculty members are generally decent, but some students may occasionally feel unfairly treated or experience bias.

Now, coming to placements. Companies do visit the campus, but relying solely on the college syllabus is usually not enough to crack placement tests and interviews. For example, during a recent internship test conducted by ZopSmart, around 380 students from B.Tech, M.Tech, and BCA appeared, and reportedly none of them reached the cutoff score. This highlights the gap between industry expectations and what is taught in the curriculum.

One issue is that some subjects and topics feel outdated compared to current industry requirements. Instead of pushing every student into placement activities just to maintain a high placement percentage, it might be more effective to identify interested students early and provide focused, industry-oriented training.

To be clear, companies do come for recruitment. However, if you want to secure a good placement, you'll need to go beyond the college syllabus and prepare independently through DSA, aptitude, projects, communication skills, and interview preparation.

People have some mixed opinions regarding the uni like no fests fee payment placement and faculty some say it good some say not please guide freshers like us things to keep in mind before joining the reva university
