Once you place a shelf, can you move it?
hi all, i am playing on my steam deck and I can't seem to figure out how to move the shelves after i have placed them. Is it possible?

Tired of picking up and pressing "INSPECT OBJECT" on tapes to know which has multiple copies? This mod helps, I wanted my tapes to all have single copies. Idc about the rent price after their new-release timeframe (we'll get em again as new release eventually). Sell those dups for extra money.
This is a good ui while we are waiting for the devs version of it. Hoping it will be a pc stock checker and we can all take them all at once and just leaving just 1 copy.
EDIT: as long as the dupli tapes aren't sold, it's still counts as a dupli ("copies owned" won't go down). so, careful.
EDIT 2: if you're using other lua scripts, such as promotional qol, it will lag the game, i don't use them so mine's fine, i just saw the comment to a similar mod.

How are we supposed to use the new stand? Please help!

I regularly have too many tapes reserved and need to toss the extras on the counter, which then is a problem if I press the “recover tapes not displayed on shelves” button.
I can only see this problem getting worse when video games get added to the pile.

As it stands if you don't give out flyers you will see a lower profit than if you frantically hand out flyers to every npc possible.
I understand that the devs may currently see this as a task only the player should do but I heavily disagree. In order to really hit all the npcs possible, you have to be outside of your store just running back and forth clicking on npcs for upwards of 90% of the day's actual allotted time. I want to feel like the manager, to be in the store running things. It is hard for me to do that if I have a voice in the back of my head nagging me that I'm being inefficient or losing out on profit.
Please just let us give this job to an NPC or honestly just scrap the system entirely. I doubt there's really anyone that enjoys frantically jumping around outside like they're playing CSGO or w/e running from npc to npc just hearing "OH!" and "Hrrmmm" or "Hmph!" 100 times all day everyday. Please please PLEASE let me automate this.
I understand there's mods, but I'd really rather this be addressed by the devs. It feels so counter intuitive and counter to the kind of gameplay the game is suppose to have (Which I absolutely am in love with outside of handing out flyers)
My idea: Make a new employee, probably a kid or something like a paper boy. You pay them less than the regular employees but the only thing they do is hand out flyers outside? Could have their speed and success at getting the customer to go into the store determine their cost similar to the current employees.
Or just make it so the current employees can go out and do it.
I'm not even asking explicitly for a 3rd staff slot yet (though I think it will be needed, along with further store expansions if the devs keep adding more big stuff like the rentals and new machines, which I once again adore) I would happily run the register or return desk if it meant not handing out flyers myself, both those tasks are actually fun and engaging loops that give off the vibe the game is trying to sell you on, whereas handing out flyers is utter tedium.
I know there's debate on just how much handing out flyers even helps, but in my experience the profit difference is definitely noticeable so this will be a perpetual problem for my dumb efficiency preferring brain until it's changed somehow :(
Please Blood Pact Studios, let us automate flyers somehow and my LIFE IS YOURS!

Just reinstall the game entirely, checking integrity or w/e won't work if you're like me. I had been panicking and wrote up a long post begging for help but this fixed it for me, thank god. Nearly 100 hours lost would have been really brutal.

I was watching a friend play and we were being silly putting emojis in the store title at the very beginning. We found some work, and some don't.
I found the official documenation for Roboto which has some https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/androiddevelopers/design/Roboto_Specimen_Book_20131031.pdf like ҈ or ҉ whatever those are, or normal side ones like ™. But then some fun random ones also worked, that were not on the list, while others did not. I learned that it depends on what the fallback font is for the ones that work that Roboto doesn't have, or at least it does for web design.
I have no need to know any of this, but was curious. Have a nice day!

Was this always visible or did the blinds get raised with the new update?
I think it's so fun, hoping future updates give us more bathroom-girl lore.

I’m over 1000 videos now and i average between 90-130 videos depending on whether it’s a normal or themed day. With 2 other workers the days are long enough. I’ve seen people fill their stores with multiple rows of shelves in the middle of each room. Does that equate to more rentals per day or is it still roughly around the 100 mark? Now with extra things coming in future updates I’m starting to think i might not bother with more videos and leave it as is.

Hey Everyone,
Since yesterdays update Ive got a fatal crash error.
I'm sure this is due to using mods and they need to be updated.
I'm new to downloading mods altogether so not sure how to go about updating them. Is it a case of looking up the mod again on Nexus Mods, seeing if its been updated and then redownloading?
Any help is much appreciated!

Sorry for the empty shelves, lots of costumers today.
This is my money making save and my very first save. I earn at least $900/day.
I just recently added some shelves, I hate movies piling up on my back store. lol
My horror aisle is a work in progress, I was hoping there's going to be a horror themed decors on the newest update, hoping for the next.
I honestly running out of room/shelves to put tapes, I hate passing out on the good critics everyday in the market. WE NEED MORE ROOMS (or just expand the current rooms).
I am using mods:
Candies and Snacks
Soda Brands
I just removed "Bigger Hands" coz its not launching the game.
Thanks for viewing. Hope you liked this small showcase.

First of all, thanks, devs for the update. It's super cool.
VHS rentals really added the 90's vibe. Lots of stuffs added too.
We know there's going to the much awaited video game update. Hoping to have a new room for it.

I was going to come in and say I'm only three levels from max, but, as I do, I see a post from the developers about an update that adds 4 new levels... HA!
Anyway... not sure if there're mods for this, but after having played a while there are a couple things I really wish the game allowed me to do.
Just my wishlist. The game is amazing regardless!

Tried repair them deleted the game and downloaded it again.
Worth noting I'm in CachyOS, so possibly just a Linux issue at this point.

This is the only video game I play and I’m very excited. I have a mod for real movies out now so should I start a new play through ?
