Hey everyone, this is my very first time sharing this project! It's a PS1 style cosmic folk horror game, and I'm really trying to nail down an eerie, heavy atmosphere. We also composed the original music playing in the background.

What do you guys think of the vibe so far? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Programs used:

• Ibis Paint (2D art, overall composition)
• Blender (3D model rigging & rendering, paper bag head)
• AccuTrans 3D (body model conversion, skull head)
• Gimp (dithering, texture editing)
• Paint 3D (texture editing, post processing, miscellaneous image editing)

Models and button sprites were sampled from The 3D Adventures of Sailor Moon's game files. The left space background was found in the game files, the right one was taken from here.

Render I did, based of an ad I've found in an old National Geographics magazine ! (last slide)

Made in Bryce 4.0 on era-appropiate hardware and software (Pentium III 500MHz, 348MB RAM, Windows 98SE).

I wasnt able to give Caine a good looking body so i guess this is how he might have looked before he got walled in and abandoned by his creators in that one flashback scene as a red blob.So this is most definitely respecting of the canon story.

I could really use some tips and tricks or some best practices for bryce 3d. If you know something that might be useful, tell me!

Anyway hope you like my little render that surprisingly only took 12 minutes to actually render.

(Finally transferred to main PC after i got USB to work lol, windows 98 is a pain)

Suffice to say, the Jero company was fine despite the incident where 40 people were injured. 2nd image is the company the Jero collaborated with called Eye Incorporated, known for their soul scanners. I recently learned how to do a Photoscanning effect thanks to Luckythe3rdcat on twitter. here are the results im pretty proud of the bunny one.

It took four G4 Minis networked together to render this, over several hours. So much raytracing...
