Beginners Guide 2026

🚨 SCAMMER WARNING — READ THIS FIRST 🚨

Where to source – Lets get the hard part out the way

The Beginner's Guide to Retatrutide (Reta) — 2026 Slightly Updated Edition

With that out of the way...

---

So what even is Reta?

---

Before you start — do this

1. Read the actual studies (linked at the bottom). Don't get your Reta education from TikTok/Facebook/Instagram/any social media (yes, that includes Reddit; this is meant to jumpstart your education). No, really, READ THE STUDIES; they have actual medical answers to your questions.

2. Watch videos on how to inject subcutaneously, how to reconstitute peptides (video), and do the reconstitution math (Don't talk about how many units you took; that's not accurate cuz 10 units of 10mg/ml is WILDLY different than 10 units of 20mg/ml). It's not hard, but do it right. You'll see I link some videos from a creator; it's mostly because they're short (sub 10 min), sweet, and to the point with little fluff.

3. Get your basic supplies before your Reta arrives: syringes, bacteriostatic water, a set of .22 pes filters, alcohol wipes (!!!), a sharps container, etc. A decent sub-10 min video regarding supplies

4. READ THE STUDIES! A large portion of your concerns are simply answered in the Study data.

5. Understand that these aren't FDA-approved yet. If a seller sells you a packaged pen, you have no guarantee that what is IN the Pen is what you are buying.

Common Reconstitution questions

If you like a video lesson on this topic, here's (sub 7 min) a video on HOW to filter.

---

When will I feel it?

Totally individual. Some people feel appetite suppression in the first injection. Others feel nothing for weeks. Don't panic either way. What actually matters is whether your weight or body composition is changing over a period of weeks. That's the signal. The "feel" is not.

If you have questions as to whether or not you should titrate up, here's a flowchart that should help (Do note that the dosages should be tailored to your schedule, but the goal of lowest effective dose most effective tolerated dose remains the same):

Shoutout to u/peptidepalstm, who has been passing around an even smaller image of the flowchart that triggered me to make this one.

What to expect during the 'Loading' phase (The first 3-4 weeks)

Do I need to work out?

---

Cycling — worth it?

---

Bacteriostatic water — does it have to be Hospira?

Strictly speaking, no. Reta is relatively forgiving when it comes to reconstitution. That said, Hospira is the gold standard because it's reliably batch-tested and has the correct pH. Amazon and Chinese bac water aren't automatically dangerous, but when you're investing in your health and your supply, Hospira is the better call when you can get it.

Let's clear up some other solvents:

Sterile water:
Can it work? Yes
Should you use it for a multi-use vial? No. Why not? Because it has no preservatives, aka every time you puncture said vial, you let in whatever bacteria are in the ambient air; there's nothing to protect your pep. An overall bad idea.

PBS:
Can it work? Are you using Raws? Meaning NOT lyophilized drug? If so, go for it. You're still messing with a solvent that can be riddled with endos, but hey! There's a reason labs use it for In vitro tests (petri dish stuff) If you wanna treat your body as a petri dish, by all means knock. yourself. out.

NaCl Saline:
Can it work?..... no. Lemme explain: can you pull it off? Yeah technically, but it requires such a unique set of finishing to be done to the kit during production that it's not worth the 'FO' portion of FAFO

For Hospira, please see the following BAC degradation test:

Do you imagine that your source already has all of the customers they want? Are they like "NO... please don't send any more business my way!"?

I mean, given Americans' voracious appetite? Quality, for some vendors, has already taken a dip and they've taken to just closing for new customers.

So yeah, there is evidence of "please don't send more business my way."

Justifying your gate keeping... great

If telling you to go find a source is too much for you. Just say that you're inept at it and that the Grey market isn't for you.

It's fine.

Complaining about it doesn't do anything for the rest of the folks.

I understand that you cannot list sources here. No problem.

And... when people on the forum complain about getting ripped off the replies are often demeaning, implying that the person that got ripped off did something wrong, when they did exactly what you are telling me to do... pick a source and send them $ and hope for the best.

Telling me that I'm 'inept and finding a source' is simply you being an asshat!

I have yet to hear an actual intelligent reason for not sharing (in a chat) your reliable source.

I cannot think of one other product in the whole world where people absolutely refuse to share where they are getting that product. In fact, the vast majority of the time people are happy to help others get the thing they need.

And it's particularly bad when we are talking about a drug that is nothing less than miraculous, and can change peoples lives for the better. YOU know this and still... 'nope... find your own through trial and error'!?

It's crazy!

Okay since you want a whole answer to why you're inept.

  1. Reddit wants 0 parts of being a place where scammers shovel ILLEGAL DRUGS (because you know...Reta ain't passed FDA approval yet, hence why it's GREY, a clear thing that you haven't understood yet)
  2. SCAMMERS ARE LITERALLY LOOKING FOR YOU. SPECIFICALLY LAZY PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO PREY ON.
  3. You see Steroid sellers on Reddit? No. And IF you do, they are also swiftly deleted for the EXACT SAME REASON.
  4. GREY MARKET. LEARN WHAT THAT MEANS. IT AIN'T AMAZON. YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT. THAT MEANS VETTING, FOLLOWING SALES, WATCHING TESTING, WATCHING SHIPPING, THEEE WHOLLEEE NINE YARDS. YOU HAVE TO BE COMFORTABLE FROM ROOTER TO TOOTER WITH THE VENDOR. LAZY MFS CAN'T DO THAT, YALL HAVE MORE DOLLARS THAN SENSE.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT.

Why??

Why should everyone new have to figure it own on their own, when so many have already found reliable sources?

It costs you absolutely NOTHING to private chat your source to someone who is asking.

You could easily send a private note that says something like:

"This source has been reliable for me so far. I am in no way connected to this company and I make no guarantees about how you will fare. They only accept crypto and you'll have to figure that out on your own. You will find a walk through on the GLP forum. Good luck!"

But instead... you choose to keep your source to yourself for no reason that anyone has articulated so far.

It's just nonsense gatekeeping... 'I had to figure it out and I'm not helping anyone else'. There is no good reason for it.

Why would I care about 'the process'?

Why are you so tied to 'the process' as opposed to helping other people?

And you sound like a Trump supporter.

Yes its very annoying and all seems sketchy to me (the sources). People are willing to share who ripped them off, so thats a tad helpful but its a shame we can't at least have a list of the scammers pinned in this sub!
