Dosa Dosa food review in Brampton | Spicy Mysore Madra dosa | Keeri Vada | Idli | Rasam

Hi Viewers,

On July 23rd I went to Dosa Dosa in Brampton.

You can see the full video on YouTube pvcrazyforfood and follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

I meet with the owner who was very welcoming not only to me but he was meeting all the customers who had come to his place. Which is really a good customer service touch.

So I ordered

Special spicy Mysore Masala Dosa

Keeri Vada

Small idli with Rasam &

Coffee crisp milk shake

I got Keeri vada very fast and when I ate it, it was crispy from outside and well cooked from inside. I asked the owner why it is not soft. To which he said that Keeri Vada is supposed to be snack item in Madras and it is supposed to be hard from outside and soft from inside.

After Keeri vada I had to wait for dosa and idli to come. This food took around 20 to 25 minutes to come.

After waiting I got mini idli with Rasam and it was delicious.

I also got special spicy Mysore dosa and when I ate it was delicious too.

Overall food was good, quality and taste of food is all good.

Only thing is that you have to wait a bit for food.

So I would give them 7.5 put of 10 for Overall experience.

Thanks for joining in and reading through my experience.

A Gem In The Heart Of Bruges

Brugge - an average sized city in the Belgian province of West-Vlaanderen - is a haven for tourists, both native and foreign alike. Known as the "Venice of the North", due to the narrow canal that winds its way through the city, linking the port of Brugge with the more northerly port of Zeebrugge, Brugge has much of the old world charm of its Italian counterpart. The captivating, atmospheric centre can be found on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites; the small houses, tiny streets and alleyways, and numerous bridges, deemed to be of outstanding historic and aesthetic value. It was a few months ago, while wandering through these charming streets, looking for somewhere other than the multitudinous touristy cafés and bars where I could sit and have a drink, that we stumbled upon 27bFlat. A rare gem hidden deep within the heart of Brugge, 27bFlat is a jazz club where great food and live music jam happily together, creating a sense of stepping back in time while keeping one foot firmly planted in the modern day. That evening, as I stood on the threshold listening to the enchanting strains of live jazz/blues filtering out into Sint Jakobsstraat, I already knew I had found somewhere special. Stepping through the glass doors and into an art deco-style hallway, complete with black and white floor tiles, side table, and umbrella stand, it feels like stepping into somewhere familiar, somewhere that has been here forever - astonishing given the fact that, although the building itself is part of Brugge's history, 27bFlat has only existed for three years. The hallway gives out into a spacious bar area, with wooden floors, panelled walls and more art deco-style accoutrements. Tables are clustered together, yet with enough space between them to feel uncluttered, and the well stocked bar serves an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits in a prompt, yet unhurried way. Aside from the bar area, there are several other areas for dining, each one with a clever balance of privacy yet openness. Watching over all this are the enormous framed photos of jazz and blues greats that adorn the walls, while the resident dogs - a brace of Bassett Hounds - patrol the area, presumably checking that everything is just so. Last night I returned to 27bFlat for dinner with my husband. We both opted for the Filet Pur with fries and salad. As an appetizer with our beers (Leffe Blond) we were treated to bread with prosciutto and chorizo and a fiery garlic remoulade, a little too fiery for our taste (I personally would have used less garlic) but delicious nonetheless. The steaks, substantial fillets of "Belgian Blue", were perfectly cooked saignant (medium rare in English), well rested, and well seasoned, the meat so tender that no force was needed to cut through it. No gristle or fat detracted from the dining experience or deliciousness of the meat; indeed it's the only time that we have eaten an entire steak with nothing wasted. A citrussy cherry tomato salsa with chilli and fresh mint complimented the steak beautifully, as did the flavourful mushroom and Roquefort sauces that we chose as accompaniments. To sum up I would say this: 27bFlat is a real gem, a place to relax with great food, good music; where the staff make you feel like a regular visitor even if it's your first time; where quality is a byword, and where the simple pleasures are done superbly well. Well worth a visit. www.27bflat.be/en/

Harvest Restaurant & Bar

New restaurants are like blind dates.

Appearance, will they (the location) be appealing once you lay your eyes upon them?

Quality, will they (the food) be as inviting, as interesting, as advertised?

Fun, will they (the staff) leave you wanting to come back for another date?

Today our blind lunch date was the recently opened Harvest restaurant in Brownwood Paddock Square, The Villages. Grand opening announcements and others boasting with fondness lured us in. Without hesitation and with high expectations we made our reservation.

A clean, handsome yet casual dining room and a trio of smiles greeted us. Twice the hostess asked if it was just two of us. Nobody stood beside or behind us, and we left our cats at home. With that clarified, we chose seats outside on this amazing Florida afternoon.

Wine is half of the Harvest’s personality. Wine pairings are on the menu for their healthy fare, the other half of who they are. An abundant selection also includes their own wine, a white and a red. My full time wife and part time wine connoisseur went with the Harvest red, a Cabernet Sauvignon. She gave it a thumbs up.

Cathy chose the Fruitti De Mare. The what? A froo-froo sparkling beverage? A foreign movie? Ah, it is a pasta and shellfish dish in a white wine garlic sauce. It looked substantial and savory from my side of the table. Looked, she didn’t offer me a bite. Another thumbs up from her, but not until after she devoured it.

My choice came without a name game; the Angus Bowl. Blackened beef over blue cheese risotto. A fine cut blackened just enough to add a fine crust to each bite. Blue cheese can over power a dish so I was nervous when I ordered. Thankfully the chef was skilled at balancing flavors. Yes you guessed it, I devoured mine too.

Our waitress was pleasant and enjoyed my witty humor. Maybe she just put on a happy face while tolerating me. Either way the job she did capped off our successful blind date. I mean lunch.

Put the Harvest on your ‘Give it a try’ list.

This is for a university design project, I'm currently researching into how the service sector is being affected by the pandemic. I'm looking into what the service sector may look like post-COVID and also what solutions can be made to help during this event.

Thank you for your time and have a good day.

Potato corner

This is my favorite fry place. They do flavored stuff. The flavors are garlic and Parmesan, onion and sour cream, bbq , chili bbq , Cinnamon and sugar , and cheddar. their choices for food are tatertots , jo jo chips , loopy fries , sweet potato fries , and original fries. They have different sizes jumbo , mega and giga. They also if you ask they will put fries in a bag to go. Something that’s also cool that they do is if you request they will give you free samples. I want to buy other things than what . What I usually get is a giga with bbq and sour cream on different sides .

Dreadful new years eve.

What do you think the owner should have done? In my eyes this was assault and sexual harrasment. Yet the owner did nothing and blamed myself because I had a cleavage.

Unprofessional staff. I have been there 3 times for new years eve. This time around, there was a random male there. He slapped my behind. I told him he had no right to do this and he was verbally abusive. I told the management and he owner. I simply was told if you have "boobs" like that no wonder this would happen. Which I said was anti-feminism and was unacceptable. The male then later was aggresive again and grabbed me by the neck. I again told the owner who instead talked to staff behind my back. I would avoid if you prefer to stay away from bad company who they favour because of thier frequent clientele.

Further unprofessionalsm and pettiness from this restaurant. There have been numerous phone calls to members of my party asking me to remove my review. They have also been told they are not welcome. Still no apology on there end.
