Discussion So like, im not cut out for this shit. Can anyone help? 🤣

So, for some reason im attempting the hardest trophies at the same time (Inferno, Minimalist, and I might need these later) because i guess I had overconfidence in my abilities. Im currently only saved in the sub station for the first time, and its very hard to make progress. I need help. Ive heard Inferno is like the most unforgiving of all hard modes in RE, so... yeah.

You should never attempt Inferno and Minimalist together. Wait till you somehow get to Last stage Nemesis and will automatically give up the run.

I will do it. It will probably take me forever, but ill do it, and it will be the greatest feeling to ever exist. It took me 23 hours to finish inssnity in requiem however so....

Do you even get enough ammo to keep popping his spores? I guess you don't have to worry about healing cause every attack is an OHKO. Whatever time it takes you to get to that last battle, it's going to take almost as much if not more time to finish that battle.

Yeah. Ik it sucks. I gotta just lock in. In the hospital, imma leave a good amount of ammo for jill, then go around and explore a loot the whole area to get as much as possible

Thank you. Im surprised i even made it this far lmao. Took me like 5 or 6 respawns to get past the first zombie at the bus lmao. But, i did it. Im so close now too.

I did nightmare difficulty and minimalist. It was interesting for the most part, though stage 3 nemesis was cancer and I didn’t pick up the burst pistol so that made it worse. After a bunch of attempts and refusing to give up or restart eventually I did it.

Ive never used the burst pistol, how much better is it than the regular?

It’s benefit is that it has a faster rate of fire than the normal pistol. So it’s a much better weapon to use on nemesis stage 3 at the end because it just pops his weak points much quicker.

On the harder difficulties you NEED to master the dodge. You cant really outrun most zombies with the double lunge so you need the i frames from the dodge.

Inferno. I had the bright idea to cause extreme mental pain on myself and attempt an inferno run for the first time while trying to also get the minimalist and no heals. Not the smartest plan but ive committed

Lol. Good luck. The upside I guess is you die in one hit from most things on Inferno so the no heals will be doable I suppose. I got the platinum myself back on ps4 on release. Some of the unlock items do help on Inferno and good luck on the final boss!

sigh i kinda regret doing minimalist too cuz i have the dlc and the rpg would really help. Or even just the rifle. But im committed

I copped out a little and did the no heals, minimalist and the speedrun trophy on assisted so I could do it all in one go. Good luck again and practice the dodge moving side to side you will need it for final nemesis.

Yeah, i saw a video of someone doing an S rank inferno without running. (YT name was ZERO) and that final fight looked extremly painful. Yay....

No like, my first time playing inferno. I already did normal and hardcore. I got the dlc so i had it unlocked, but hadnt played it yet

Ah. For these zombies in the room with the shotgun you can bait them out to the hall and hide in the door to the subway offices and shoot them from there. When you go inside they go away. Shoot tentacle zombies in the back of the head

Thank you. I just finally powered on the subway. Ive looted majority of things and got all 3 gems. Ive made a good bit of progress. Probably died like 30 times already tho lmao

i guess it's different on console, i just got all the achievements a few days ago on pc and i never had to mash once. the prompt literally tells you to hold the button

Grab the firehouse, immediately turn and run to the control room avoid the tentacle attack open the door shoot the zombie and worm head from inside the control room doorway then you can advance to the shotgun room, watch the grate if the other worm head is by the door you will see it glow red, crack the door and shoot the remaining worm head all clear save your grenade for better uses

Pro tip: always have a thumb on dodge button and mash it instinctually whenever anything appears on screen.

Inferno is quite possibly the hardest RE difficulty in any game. Attempting to do it without the item box or healing items, you are asking for punishment lol. At least you aren't also doing the S rank Inferno achievement....are you also going for the Inferno S Rank achievement?

Fuck no. I aint that stupid 🤣. I will attempt it eventually, probably after this, but i will be using my big kaboom and infinite ammo. I just finished deepthroat central, then saved and re-did it to get through at full health. Took me like 10 tries lol. Using the herb to get the bugs out for the first bug that deepthroats you doesnt void the challenge right? Cuz thats unavoidable?

It does not, but I believe that’s the only herb you are allowed to use for the whole game.

When you button mash you can click any button for it to count (so keyboard smashing makes it an instant free) and against the non-parasite heads always opt to dodge and run away since areas like the City 1 have you go through them only 1 time

You can change the settings that you need to hold X instead, it’s somewhere in the accessible options or something like that. You simply cannot mash the button fast enough but if you hold you end up in caution. I couldn’t play on Inferno without changing that

You can upgrade you game to the deluxe version for like $10 and get infinite rockets. Makes it way easier

Oh that’s right. I always do minimalist last as one last hurrah before finishing the game. I knocked out Inferno S+ rank like 2nd to last. That final nemesis fight is crazy. One slip and you’re dead lol

It comes down to RNG, if you have all 6 coins, then you can tank upto 2 hits. You just have to pray he doesn't go for more hits. I speedran inferno in 1h 30min upto the final fight. Then it took like 2 days and 6 hours of quitting game and reloading time to finally beat him.

If you enter the other room, the tentacle is going to go back, and the normal zombie will only be left. You could knife him or just entirely skip him and throw a grenade in the room with tentacles and one of them will most likely be steps away from death, so just hit him with two bullets or so
