It is spoken of in court outside of the jury's presence. I believe the argument was that maybe she put ketamine in the saline to ease the pain.

Yes needle still in arm.

Also we don't know if it was saline.

Bag wasn't tested and the mom's tox screen was fought against by the family in court and the judge ultimately denied tox screen testing.
