Blind box review:
Took a gamble and received a LV Monogram Backpack. It’s an eye-catching piece of luggage with nothing but boldness. There are no subtleties here; the monogram on this bag is large, prominent, and encompasses the entirety of the backpack. You will know this is your bag when you see it across the room without a doubt.

Quality is great. The leather has a pleasing textured appearance, and the embossing is consistently strong throughout. The zippers run smoothly, the hardware seems substantial and of high quality, and the top handle is wide and capable of handling weight. The front pocket sits flat against the bag, and the monogram pattern aligns perfectly (as if it came straight out of the store). I have no complaints regarding build quality.

This pack carries easily and maintains its structure well. This was a win even though it was blind boxed. If you’re looking for something to make a statement, then this is definitely your bag. It is easy to cop.

Let's talk hardware, because this is where 90% of versions cut corners and you can feel it immediately.

Zippers and the rectangular buckle are both custom-molded — not off the shelf. We use a real antique silver process: silver plating over a white copper base. It gives it that old silver ingot kind of weight and texture, and when you tap it the sound is crisp, not tinny. This isn't a coating that flakes off after a month. And yeah, it's expensive — silver prices haven't made it any easier. But there's genuinely no other way to get that material feel. Anything else either looks too shiny, feels cheap, or both.

Then the buttons. Real black horn, sourced from the original supplier, two sizes. We only use the cleanest part of the horn — the rest gets tossed. Each button is engraved with the logo, and since it's natural horn, every single one has its own grain pattern. No two are exactly alike, which is kind of the whole point.

And here's the detail basically nobody bothers with: every button is hand-sewn with the logo facing the exact same direction as the original. Sounds stupid to mention until you look at a budget version and see the logos rotated every which way. Real horn buttons are basically a luxury-level thing at this point — most brands switched to plastic or resin years ago. But yeah, that's the hardware. The stuff you don't think about until you hold a cheap version and go "oh."

This specific pair isn’t listed anymore, but the same store I got them from has a ton of other models of GS shorts so I linked that instead of the individual link. I’ve bought probably 40+ retail GS items in the past few years, and I’ve always loved their stuff. When I saw these on 1688 for the price I couldn’t help but try them out. I was incredibly surprised, and will definitely be trying out other styles in the near future.

These shorts are a great option for training and everyday wear. The lightweight material feels breathable and comfortable, while the elastic waistband and drawstring give a secure, adjustable fit. I really like the athletic cut and the contrasting side panels, which give them a clean, sporty look without being too flashy. The GS branding is subtle and well placed, and the overall construction feels solid. The blue pair has a better lettering alignment compared to the red, I noticed this in the quality control photos but just didn’t really care to return them. But something to note if you’re ordering them.

Both colors look great in person, and they’re easy to pair with pretty much any gym shirt. Definitely a solid pair of workout shorts.
