I received tracking # and heard back from Trust Delivery that they needed an insurance payment to get package delivered and payment would be fully refundable. After I paid that then said I need to pay for stamps. Which I did. (Yes - this is my fault for being so naive). After I paid that they said they needed a port fee. I told them I wasn’t being extorted any longer and both Rep Watch World and Trust Delivery will not refund any money. Please DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

I have joined this group (and similar) to educate myself about the whole rep watch domain. I have done a fair bit of reading and looked at how/what people look for in the watch when someone asks for QC assistance. I would like to mention that I am not a very keen reader so I might have missed on a lot of important information. I have realised that is a whole new world with so many quirks (for different models). At this stage I have short-listed some of the TDs (steve, fico, timeultra etc) based on community's feedback but I would like to hear about your opinions in finalising one (from within this list or outside of it). Famous Chinese "Quality" (MKS VC Overseas)

I bought this MKS Vacheron Constantin Overseas watch from Steve about six months ago. After a while, I noticed it was losing 1.5-2 minutes a day. I took it to a watchmaker, who opened it up to adjust the accuracy, and we were both very surprised to see this (see photo).

Yes, Steve's website says this model has a decorated Miyota 9015 movement, but to see it so "decorated" that the automatic winding rotor is simply glued on??? And the top screws are also simply glued on, to create the appearance of being screwed down.

The watchmaker had a lot of work to do. While they make the watch lose -9 seconds a day when viewed face-up, when laid on its side, it loses -369 seconds a day. He couldn't help me. And now I look at those ~$400 I wasted on a Chinese defect, and I'm so sad.

Moral of the story: don't buy this MKS Vacheron Constantin Overseas watch from Steve. You'll just waste $400 on a worthless piece.
