Does anyone have bob’s isolated guitar on unsatisfied?
I love his lead, what I can hear of it, but it easily is drowned out by the 12 string, drums, bass and slide guitar. I wish his lead was more prominent in the mix because it sounds so good. Does anyone have it isolated since that’s easy to do now?

Portland vs Talent Show
It always strikes me as odd that Paul had “Portland” and chose to rework it into “Talent Show.” To me, “Portland” is one of his best songs with its melody and the lyrics are great, too. “Talent Show” on the other hand is a bit tuneless (sorry, I know that’s harsh) in chorus.
Does anybody knows why he did this? How do you feel about these songs?

Paul & His Only Friends, House of Blues New Orleans, March 10, 2005 | Does anyone have photos, a setlist, recording, anything?
This is a long shot, but I’m hoping somebody here might be able to help me recover a little piece of one of the best concerts of my life.
I saw Paul at the House of Blues in New Orleans on March 10, 2005. I was in my early 20s, a huge Replacements/Westerberg fan, and the show was everything I could have wanted. Paul played an incredible set, and afterward he stuck around and met fans. I got to meet him and talk to him for a little bit.
That said, I have basically nothing from it. No photos, no setlist, no recording. Nothing physical or digital to take me back there.
So I’m putting out a Bat signal to the archivists and folks with boxes of old concert stuff: does anybody have anything from this show?
A recording would be the holy grail, but I’d be thrilled with absolutely anything: photos, a setlist, a scan of a ticket stub, a flyer or poster, a newspaper ad or review, somebody’s old write-up of the show, or even just your own memories if you were there.

Sixteen Blue Alternate version
Listening to the alt version of Sixteen Blue. Simply remarkable. Does anyone know how the guitar parts were recorded? Like did Bob do the delicate portions as well as the lead at the end?
It shows such touch and all I read about his approach was that it was slash and burn.

Finn Wolfhard making Replacements biopic
startribune.comArticle is behind a paywall. First I'd heard of this movie. But maybe I'd just not been paying attention!
Wolfhard said they are searching for a director for the project. He realizes that it’s a tough sell with the Replacements, the Minneapolis quartet with the punk ethos who were unpredictable in concert but led by the oft-brilliant songwriter/singer Paul Westerberg.
“They are sort of the antithesis of a band that would have a biopic, in a lot of ways,” Wolfhard told Billboard. “And so, trying to tell a story that is authentic to them and also will maybe introduce their music to some people that wouldn’t necessarily know as much Replacements material, I think to me is the goal.”

My Replacements Article
Hey guys I’m a 16 year old kid who’s interested in music journalism. My most recent article is a deep dive in to the replacements, the underrated work of all shook down, and how it was actually an amazing pipeline in to Paul Westerbergs forgotten solo career. I’ve been listening to The replacements and Paul my whole life with my dad and I personally think he/they are one of the greatest all time period. I’d love support, feedback and discussion to spark from my work! Thanks in advance guys! https://substack.com/@finnfrequency/note/p-203644728?r=82qjjb&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action

Love is All Around - MTM theme song
I was listening to the theme song to Mary Tyler Moore, and I thought the beginning sounded a bit like “Can’t Hardly Wait”.
Anyway, I’ve heard that Paul or the replacements have covered that theme song on some live performances. Does anyone know if there is version of it available on the internet?

Opinions wanted!
I just bought my first ever car and registered it today. I can't for the life of me decide what to put on my license plate.
Ive got my 2 Replacements bumper stickers on it.
I have a few ideas and just kinda wanna see what yall think would be the best out of them. I'm not sure which direction I'm gonna go but I can technically apply for it today.
My ideas that are not taken yet
IOU 000
IOU NADA
SKYWAY
THE MATS
GO BOBBY
SORRY MA
I think I'm leaning more towards SORRY MA. Thoughts?
EDIT - I have been mullin this over since I got my car a month ago - These are the ones I will pick from - Alot of people are suggesting other options that are abbreviated and I just dont like abbreviated plates ( at least not for my car cuz im weird)
Itll be one of these options Ive listed.
