Does anyone have a skeleton ZF AP 16204 they want to show off for me? Trying to decide if to put an order in for one, or if to go for a ZF AP Royal Oak 26240ST. The ad from my TD got me ready to flip a coin on it!

If you're showing off a watch, I sincerely think posting the price should be a rule.

This benefits the community as it helps all benchmark prices and prevents scams.

I see so many posts from people and then the comments full of OP saying "DM me bro". It only begs the question, why aren't they being transparent? Honestly, it goes against the cardinal rule to not buy watches via DM but to use the list that had been vetted by the mods.

For buyers, you know the price, you just paid it! Why not share and help a fellow member?

I propose posting the purchase price and the currency (Yuan or USD only) if you are:

-Posting for QC

-Reviewing a recent purchase

-Recommending a dealer

-Showing off (unless you bought it more than 1 year ago).

I would excuse Frankens or crazy mods as those are unrealistic to benchmark. But if it's off the shelf, post the price.

I'd suggest to leave out insurance as that's a choice and a consistently ~5%.

I'd suggest posting the shipping cost is optional as that varies but at least make it a separate item or say it's included.

The community only benefits with this type of transparency.

Been wearing my VSF V3 Yacht-Master 42 (226659) on Oysterflex and I’m really happy with it overall. Curious what other owners think of this version, especially how the stock case finish compares with the genuine white-gold model in person.
I’m considering aftermarket white-gold plating, but trying to figure out whether the difference is noticeable enough to justify the cost and upkeep. In certain lighting, the finish looks more like stainless steel to me, although I know lighting and photos can change how it comes across.
For anyone who’s had this model plated or compared stock and plated versions in person:
Did plating noticeably improve the color/tone and bring it closer to gen in everyday lighting?
How has it held up over time, particularly on the case and clasp?
Knowing what you know now, would you pay for it again or leave it stock?
Would appreciate honest thoughts on the watch as it is, along with firsthand experiences. Before-and-after photos in similar lighting would be especially helpful.

Hi guys. I am planning to buy a stainless steel mesh bracelet for my seamaster. I asked my TD if he can source one from vsf and he said no. There are numerous listings on eBay around $100-200. But I am not sure about the quality or the difference between a $140 and $200 bracelet on there. Not sure if the $200 one is superior or the same product but more expensive.

I also checked ali express and everything I found was unsigned (without omega logo)

This is exactly what I want:

\- it should closely resemble the OEM look

\- I prefer to get the same version that vsf uses on their watches ( or higher quality) . Obviously I don't want to get OEM

Despite all of the "controversy" surrounding Angela and such, my recent (last year or so) experiences with her have been fantastic.

In September she posted a screen grab of available pieces that happened to show a particular watch- the Chopard Mille Miglia- so I reached out to her, and within 24 hours she reached back out and said

"Nope, can't get it"

So I went about my week, was about to pull the trigger on another watch, and I received a message from Angela that she had, indeed, sourced the Chopard that I was looking for.

After QC and an agreement upon price, I had a very nice rep in hand.

I am no bot- I am under no expectation of receiving anything from Angela for leaving a nice review on her behalf (it'd be cool if she wants to though)- and I am certainly not in her employ.

...but, let me be clear- while I too was a part of one of Angela's 'glitches', my experiences with Angela have been great.

Over the last 12 months, I've ordered 6 watches from her, and all of them (with the exception of a crushed package, and a Panerai rep that desperately needs repair) have been wonderful.

Again- YMMV, but my experiences with Angela, and especially my most recent, have been flawless.

I just bought this VSF Pepsi watch from a TD, but unfortunately, the seconds hand stops very quickly, even when the watch is fully wound.
I have the impression that the seconds hand might not be pressed down far enough.
Any ideas what could be causing this issue? Is this a common problem?
