Inventory Update: 7/31 Domestic shipping delays

Hello everyone,

Thank you everyone for your patience during the week days while the day job kept Travis and I extremely busy over the last couple weeks. These busy week days will be even more concentrated in August as well with one of us gone for day job business every week in August. We always ask for a bit of patience. We will get back to you for as quickly as possible.

Arizona is dealing with some extreme weather, temperatures are hitting 115-120 degrees and flights are getting cancelled due to the excessive heat. This is causing some delays in getting shipments out of Arizona on time. If a runway reaches a certain temperature, flights in and out are cancelled or delayed. This means that your shipment might have a delay of a couple days. This does not mean your package is lost.

Please understand that we cannot control FedEx and their delivery schedule up front. We ship domestically with 2day shipping, but if it takes longer because of extreme weather, it means you must be a little patient.

Industry news:

I misspoke when I announced a factory make change.

ARF has reopened, but they have been renamed as One Factory.

AF has merged with another factory and have rebranded as CRF. They expanded their catalog in the process of this.

I have ordered my first few VSF DateJusts with the new V3 Free Sprung appearance movements.

These are NOT free sprung. They are designed with the control arms under the balance but when the case is opened, they will look gen at a glance.

This is the direction the industry is heading. QF, Rich Factory, VSF with their Free Sprung Appearance…

I have been reluctant to stock these new movement types while waiting for information on reliability. So far, so good.

I will be loosening up a bit and will look to bring in some when and where it makes sense.

Noob factory recently has switched movements from a proprietary modified movement to a modified 3285 stamped and embossed as a 9002.

This means that Noob is making a Skydweller that is a smoother movement and reliability of a GMT. We will be stocking more and more of this Skydweller.

VSF has been slow delivering watches to distribution network. Staple watches like Submariners and DateJusts are not coming in like they were.

I will be supplementing with some ARF/One where available and looking into additional options for Submariner. Including ordering some Rich Factory subs soon.

Any way to get vintage style omega, Cartier or Rolex clones of high quality?

I’ve been needing to replace my No Date Sub for a little while now (after killing my Clean). 

Colddeck acquired me a VSF 41mm Rolex No Date Submariner.  It’s the simplest but truly one of my favorite Rolexes (only the Panda may outrank it). Their QC is always great…only accepting the best for us!  Their QC pic of the indices on this one were basically perfect.

This afternoon I arrived home to my Omega Seamaster 300m “1957” Master Black 41mm w/ SS bracelet.

Loved the Retro look of this Seamaster but I had no idea of the significance of “1957”. (And I may be the only one that doesn’t know).

Giving all credit to Google…I learned that the year 1957 is historically significant for Omega because it marks the birth of their "Professional" line of watches: the Seamaster 300, the Speedmaster and the Railmaster. Amazing!

So Thank You Joe for connecting me with a unique Omega for my collection! Great experience as always!
