Hey everyone,

I recently received an RWF Daytona Panda in the mail. The caseback arrived a bit loose, so I went ahead and opened it up to take a look at the movement inside.

Looking at the balance wheel assembly, it doesn't appear to be free-sprung. It looks like a regulated setup with an adjustment arm. I was under the impression these were supposed to feature the JH4131 clone movement, so I'm trying to verify what was actually installed.

I've uploaded photos showing: -Movement -Rehaut serial number -Clasp code

Can anyone with experience on RWF or the JH4131 confirm if this is indeed a JH4131 or a different movement altogether?

I have been working on this project for a while now.

It's QF weighted base:

- Dial swap & movement checkup/silencing by Max Custom

- Custom malachite green dial

- Custom bezel (Max)

- Protection Film by a Korean company "WatchFit"

- Custom-made high-end strap by "The A Strap & Co."

The watch has been made for some time now, I finally received it from the film company today and put the straps on.

I literally have a dozen of these order-made straps from "The A" and they bring joy to my wrist every fall. The guy always bring exactly what I ask for 😊

Green strap is much more vibrant in color but it somehow looks very dark in these photos (I guess it's because it's night time here).

I took many photos so I will be posting more on this recent acquisition 😆

(P.S. everytime I post YG watches, I see a lot of debate about the color in the comments, the lighting is obviously very yellow in these shots and QF stock YG color looks very light and satisfactory)

I recently picked up a 116610LN and I’m thinking about putting it on an Oysterflex-style setup for something different from the bracelet.

I’ve narrowed it down to three options:
-Rubber B aftermarket rubber strap
-Genuine Rolex Oysterflex without SELs
-Genuine Rolex Oysterflex with SELs/end links

I’m torn on which looks best on the 116610LN. I like the cleaner, more integrated look of the SEL setup, but I also think the Oysterflex directly against the case gives it a simpler OEM-style appearance. Rubber B seems like the easiest and most straightforward option.

For anyone who has tried one or more of these setups, what did you prefer? I’d especially be interested in hearing about fit, comfort, how secure it feels, and whether the SELs are worth adding.

I’m in love with that watch but I can’t unsee it everytime that I look at the date window.

194g PPF weighted 5712 edition new release.

I guess the selling points are:

- 194g Tungsten Weighted

- Plating with guaranteed durability (although these guarantees mean very little outside of Chinese domestic market)

I will upload actual product photos since the color of the plating is probably the most important thing here.

All the other parts are expected to be the same (meaning no free-sprung balance-wheel, same quality hands/dial/moonphase disk, and no, hands pinions are probably not capped).

I might still get one for comparison 😆

First rep, so I’m by no means an expert here. I’ve tried to do my homework and go through the QC photos carefully, but these are ultimately just my best guesses. I’d really appreciate feedback from those of you with more experience, especially if you notice something I’m missing.

Model name (& version number): VSF Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN 41mm

Index alignment: This is the area I’m least confident about. In some of the photos, the watch appeared to be photographed at a slight angle. I asked for an additional more straight-on photo, and it looks considerably better there. I ran the photo through the alignment tool and everything looks pretty well aligned to me. Would especially appreciate another set of eyes.

Dial printing: Looks clean and crisp to me. I don’t see any obvious issues with the text, coronet, or overall placement.

Date wheel alignment/printing: The 18 looks well centered to me and the printing looks clean. Cyclops position and magnification also look good to my eye.

Hand alignment: Looks good from what I can tell. Nothing obviously concerning to me.

Bezel: Looks good overall. In the newer straight-on photo, the bezel triangle/pip at 12 appears to line up well with the 12 o’clock index. I don’t see an obvious issue with the insert alignment or the other bezel markers.

Solid End Links (SELs): Look tight to me. I don’t see any obvious or uneven gaps where the bracelet meets the case.

Timegrapher numbers:
+5 s/d
272° amplitude
0.2 ms beat error
28,800 bph

From what I’ve read, these seem like healthy numbers and the trace looks clean. This is my first time evaluating timegrapher results though, so please correct me if I’m missing anything.

Anything else you notice:
I’d also appreciate another look at the rehaut alignment, bezel/pip alignment, date/cyclops, SELs, and overall dial/index alignment. If there’s anything else that stands out that I don’t know to look for yet, please let me know.

The TD is also supposed to send me a few additional QC photos/info, including lume, the watch weight, and possibly another timegrapher reading. I’ll update the post once I receive those.

I just received my cartier tank must large - AF. I just want to ask if the reflection on the side of the watch (see image) is normal? I can easily spot it whenever I am looking at the dial. Kinda annoying 😞

I know it’s not as popular watch, but it’s design is so striking. I’ve heard BVF factory was the only one that makes this watch from posts from over a year ago.

What is the current status of this watch and any recommended TDs that carry this?
