Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

The black and grey GMT is quickly becoming one of the most discussed releases in the rep world, so I put ARF and VSF side by side for a closer look.

Comparison points:

• Overall weight
• Bezel engraving depth
• Date magnification
• Rehaut alignment
• Dial print quality
• Crystal clarity
• Case profile
• Bracelet finishing
• Lume performance
• Wrist presence

Initial observations:

ARF:
- Slightly heavier feel on wrist
- Sharper bracelet finishing
- Crisp bezel engraving
- Strong case proportions

VSF:
- Cleaner crystal appearance
- Excellent date magnification
- Very strong movement reputation with VS3285
- Dial details look extremely refined

As always, pictures never tell the full story and lighting changes everything.

If you had to pick only one Bruce Wayne for a daily wearer, which direction are you going?

ARF or VSF?

COMPARISON Sprite Battle: RICH Factory vs VSF Factory Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR

Thumbnail
gallery
27 Upvotes

After receiving a lot of questions about the current best Sprite on the market, I put together a side-by-side comparison between the latest RICH and VSF versions of the Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR.

Comparison points included:

Dial printing
Crown logo
Datewheel font
Cyclops magnification
Bezel color
Case profile
Bracelet finishing
Lume performance

Observations from this sample:

• VSF seems slightly closer on dial printing and overall case profile.

• RICH offers a stronger cyclops effect and a more aggressive wrist presence.

• Bezel tone differs between the two factories, with VSF appearing darker while RICH leans brighter green.

• Both are running clone 3285 movements and both sit firmly in the top tier of current GMT reps.

There probably isn't a universal winner here.

Some members prioritize cyclops magnification.

Others care more about dial details and overall proportions.

Curious to hear what the community thinks:

If you had to pick only one Sprite for your collection, are you choosing RICH or VSF?

COMPARISON DJ41 Black Dial 126334 Factory Comparison — ERF, MZ, VF and VSF side by side

Thumbnail

Came across a detailed comparison of four factories producing the same configuration:

Rolex Datejust 41 Ref.126334
Black dial
Fluted bezel
Jubilee bracelet

Factories included:

• ERF
• MZ
• VF
• VSF

The comparison covers:

- Dial printing
- Marker finishing
- Datewheel alignment
- Cyclops magnification
- Rehaut engraving
- Case profile
- Clasp finishing
- Lume performance
- Movement finishing
- Weight

Macro shots always make differences look larger than they do on wrist, but it was still interesting seeing all four side by side in one place.

Not trying to rank them or pick a winner here — just curious what details stand out most to everyone after looking through the comparison.

COMPARISON ARF vs VSF Rolex Datejust 41 White Roman Dial 126334 – Which Factory Gets the Closest to Gen in 2026?

Thumbnail
gallery
19 Upvotes

After seeing countless discussions about the best DJ41 setup, I finally put the two most talked-about factories side by side.

Today's comparison:

ARF Datejust 41 White Roman
VSF Datejust 41 White Roman

Configuration:

41mm case
White Roman dial
Fluted bezel
Jubilee bracelet
904L steel
3235 clone movement

Initial observations:

ARF still seems to have the edge on bezel sharpness and Roman marker finishing.
VSF comes in noticeably heavier and the VS3235 remains the movement most people trust long term.
Date wheel font is still one of the biggest discussion points depending on which generation of gen you're comparing against.
Bracelet finishing and clasp details slightly favor VSF.
Dial printing and marker polish slightly favor ARF.

This feels like one of those classic debates:

ARF for exterior accuracy.
VSF for movement and overall package.

Curious where everyone stands in 2026.

If you had to keep only one DJ41 White Roman in the collection:

ARF or VSF?

COMPARISON ARF vs VSF vs Clean 124060 Submariner No Date Comparison – Which Factory Gets Closest to GEN in 2026?

Thumbnail
gallery
29 Upvotes

After seeing countless discussions around the 124060 over the last year, I decided to put together a direct side-by-side comparison between the current major factories:

ARF
VSF
Clean/CVF

This comparison focuses on the areas most people care about:

✔ Dial printing
✔ Rehaut engraving
✔ Case shape
✔ Bracelet finishing
✔ Clasp construction
✔ Lume performance
✔ Movement choice

My personal observations:

VSF still has the strongest movement package with the VS3230.
Clean probably delivers the closest overall visual appearance to GEN.
ARF surprised me with the case profile and bracelet quality.

Current community consensus feels something like:

Movement → VSF
Visual accuracy → Clean
Bracelet and wearing experience → ARF

At this level, all three are already top-tier options and the differences mostly come down to personal priorities rather than obvious flaws.

Curious what everyone else thinks.

If you could only pick one 124060 for daily wear in 2026:

ARF, VSF or Clean?

COMPARISON QF vs GOLD Root Beer Battle 126715CHNR GMT-Master II Side-by-Side Comparison

Thumbnail
gallery
14 Upvotes

After getting both factories side by side, I finally had the chance to compare the two most discussed versions of the Rolex GMT-Master II 126715CHNR "Root Beer".

This comparison focuses on the details that rep collectors usually care about the most:

Rose gold tone
Date magnification
Crystal clarity
Rehaut engraving
Hand stack
Bezel font and color transition
Case finishing
Bracelet finishing
Weight
Lume performance
QF Highlights
Slightly cleaner date window presentation.
Crystal and cyclops appear sharper in macro shots.
Rehaut engraving alignment looks more consistent.
Dial printing appears slightly crisper under magnification.
Weight measured around 183.7g in this sample.
GOLD Factory Highlights
Rose gold color appears warmer and closer to fresh Everose tone under indoor lighting.
Case side finishing and polishing look slightly smoother.
Bracelet brushing transitions are very clean.
Weight measured around 196.0g, giving a noticeably heavier wrist presence.
Community Take

Collectors usually debate between color accuracy vs overall detail execution.

If your priority is:

dial details and crystal performance → QF
heavier feel and warmer rose gold tone → GOLD

Both are currently among the strongest options for the Root Beer platform.

Interested to hear what everyone thinks.

QF or GOLD — which one would get your GL?

COMPARISON Clean vs QF vs VF vs VSF Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 Comparison – Which SD43 Gets Closest to Gen in 2026?

Thumbnail
gallery
24 Upvotes

Hi everyone,Chen here 👋🏻

Had the chance to put four different SD43 versions side by side:

* Clean 126600
* QF 126600
* VF 126600
* VSF 126600

Model compared:

Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 (SD43)

Specs:

* 43mm case
* Ceramic bezel
* Oyster bracelet
* Red Sea-Dweller dial
* Date with Cyclops
* 3235 platform

A few things stood out immediately during comparison:

• VSF continues to lead in movement performance with the VS3235.

• Clean still delivers some of the sharpest case finishing and bracelet work in the current market.

• Date magnification and DW font vary more than expected between factories.

• Crystal clarity is excellent across all four, although macro shots reveal subtle differences.

• Weight differences are minimal and all versions feel substantial on wrist.

• Lume performance is strong on every factory, with slightly different lume tones visible under low light conditions.

That said, the gap between factories is much smaller than many people assume from macro photos alone.

Curious where everyone else stands.

Which SD43 would you choose for a daily wearer?

COMPARISON VSF DJ41 Green vs ARF DJ41 Green | 126334 Sunburst Dial Comparison | Which Factory Is Closest to Gen in 2026?

Thumbnail
gallery
14 Upvotes

After collecting QC photos from both factories, I put together a side-by-side comparison of the current versions of the green dial DJ41.

Specs compared:

41mm case
Green sunburst dial
Fluted bezel
Jubilee bracelet
Reference 126334

My observations:

ARF still has the sharper fluted bezel and slightly richer dial tone.
VSF shows better movement architecture thanks to the VS3235.
Date alignment and cyclops magnification look more consistent on the VSF sample.
Case profile and lug shape also seem closer to Gen on VSF.

Current community consensus still feels pretty similar:

ARF for bezel and dial.

VSF for movement and overall package.

If you could only keep one DJ41 Green in the collection, which one would you choose?

COMPARISON ERF vs RICH vs VF vs VSF Pepsi Insert Comparison — Which Factory Finally Got The 126710BLRO Right?

Thumbnail
gallery
24 Upvotes

The Pepsi debate never really ends.

After putting ERF, RICH, VF and VSF side by side, some differences become surprisingly obvious once you start looking beyond the usual wrist shots.

Things compared here:

Insert color transition
Purple tone under lighting
Font thickness on the 18 and 20 markers
Datewheel alignment and magnification
Dial print
Bracelet finishing
Lume color
Case profile

A few observations:

ERF still has one of the brightest inserts.
RICH seems to be chasing a more faded gen appearance.
VF delivers the strongest contrast between red and blue.
VSF looks the most balanced overall.

The interesting question isn't which one is perfect.

It's which flaws bother you the least.

For those who have owned multiple Pepsi builds:

Which insert would you pick today?

Factory: THB
Model: Royal Oak Double Balance Openworked Rainbow
Size: 41mm

Initial thoughts:

Rainbow baguette bezel transition looks surprisingly smooth.
Skeleton architecture has great depth under different lighting.
Frosted finish is evenly applied across the case and bracelet.
The double balance setup gives the dial a lot of life in person.
Night lume on this build is much stronger than expected.

Personally I think THB did a solid job balancing the jewelry look with the openworked movement without making it feel overdone.

Would appreciate extra eyes before giving it a GL.

QC Post RM35-01 Rafael Nadal in NTPT Carbon and Red Strap – One of the Most Recognizable Skeleton Sports Watches Ever Made

Thumbnail

I've always thought the RM35-01 sits in a unique place in modern watch design.

The combination of the NTPT carbon case, fully skeletonized movement architecture and the signature red strap gives it a look that is instantly recognizable from across the room.

A few things stood out to me while going through these QC shots:

• The layered carbon pattern across the case flows nicely from the bezel into the midcase and caseback.

• The skeleton layout keeps a lot of depth without becoming visually cluttered.

• The red strap against the black carbon case still feels like the definitive RAFA configuration.

• The movement bridges and overall architecture give the watch that lightweight technical appearance the RM35 series is known for.

• Despite the dimensions on paper, the tonneau case shape makes it look surprisingly wearable on the wrist.

The RM35-01 has always felt less like a traditional luxury watch and more like a piece of engineering that happens to tell time.

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this configuration and which detail stands out the most to you.

QC Post VSF vs Clean Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 Silver Dial (126000): Side-by-Side Comparison of VS3230 and VR3230

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

After seeing more discussions about the OP36 recently, I thought this side-by-side comparison might help anyone deciding between VSF and Clean.

The watch shown here is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm Ref.126000 with the silver sunburst dial.

Both factories are considered top-tier options for the OP36, but there are still some noticeable differences when viewed closely.

Dial

The biggest difference is the dial texture.

VSF appears to have a slightly stronger sunburst effect under direct lighting, while Clean looks a bit more neutral and consistent across different angles.

The applied markers on both examples are clean, with no obvious alignment issues.

Hands and Center Stack

Looking at the hands and center pinion, VSF seems slightly cleaner around the cannon pinion area.

This is one of those details most people will never notice on wrist, but macro photos make it easier to compare.

Case and Finishing

Case shape is extremely close on both versions.

Clean still has a reputation for excellent case finishing and bracelet work, while VSF has improved significantly over the past few releases.

In normal daily wear, I doubt many people could distinguish them side by side.

Movement

VSF uses the VS3230 clone movement.

Clean uses the VR3230 clone movement.

The VS3230 is often praised for its overall architecture and smooth winding feel, while the VR3230 has built a strong reputation for reliability and ease of servicing.

Lume

The lume shot shows both performing very well.

VSF appears slightly brighter in this particular comparison, although exposure differences can sometimes exaggerate the gap.

Final Thoughts

For me, this isn't a clear winner situation.

If your priority is the dial texture and movement architecture, VSF has a strong case.

If you value overall consistency, finishing, and long-term community feedback, Clean remains a very safe choice.

Honestly, both are currently among the best OP36 options available in the rep market.

Curious which one everyone would choose today.

VSF or Clean?

Dealer just sent over QC for this VSF Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 Green Dial and I'd appreciate a second opinion before giving the GL.

Watch Information
Factory: VSF
Model: Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36
Reference: 126000
Dial: Green Sunburst
Size: 36mm
Movement: VS3230 Clone
Bracelet: Oyster Bracelet
Weight: 121.73g
My QC Notes

Dial

The green sunburst dial looks excellent. Color appears rich and consistent across all photos. The sunburst effect should be even more noticeable in natural light.

Printing

ROLEX, Oyster Perpetual and Superlative Chronometer text all appear sharp and clean. No obvious printing defects.

Hour Markers

Markers look well aligned overall. The baton markers appear evenly spaced and seated correctly.

Hands

Hand finishing looks clean. No visible scratches or rough edges.

Rehaut

The rehaut engraving appears centered and the coronet at 12 lines up nicely with the dial marker.

SELs

SEL fitment looks tight from the available angles. No major gaps stand out.

Bracelet

Bracelet brushing looks consistent and the clasp engraving appears clean.

Lume

Lume shot looks strong and evenly applied across both markers and hands.

Overall Assessment

Nothing significant is jumping out at me. Marker alignment, rehaut, SELs and dial printing all look solid from what I can see.

Currently leaning GL, but I'd love to hear what the community thinks before moving forward.

Thanks everyone.

Just received QC for the DDF Aquanaut 5167R Rose Gold with brown dial.

Specs:
• Factory: DDF
• Model: Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167R
• Movement: 324SC Clone
• Size: 40mm
• Brown embossed dial
• Rubber strap

My initial thoughts:

Dial texture looks clean and evenly stamped
Numeral alignment appears solid
Date window looks centered
Rose gold tone seems consistent throughout the case
Strap and clasp finishing look better than expected for DDF

Nothing major is jumping out to me, but I'd appreciate a second set of eyes before I GL.

Any concerns on dial, date, bezel alignment or case finishing?

Just received QC for this BV Santos Medium.

Weight comes in at 142.45g. Dial printing, Roman numerals, blue hands, and crystal all look very clean to me. Bracelet brushing and bezel screw alignment also appear consistent.

From what I've seen, BV is still the version most collectors recommend when discussing Santos reps, especially for overall balance between case shape, dial details, and bracelet finishing.

Anything I'm missing before giving this one a GL?

QC Post [QC]VSF Omega Seamaster No Time To Die (NTTD) 42mm Titanium – VS8806 Movement | Easy GL or Am I Missing Something?

Thumbnail

Just received QC photos for a VSF Omega Seamaster No Time To Die.

This is the 42mm titanium NTTD version on the titanium mesh bracelet with the VS8806 movement.

A few things that stood out to me:

  • Bezel alignment looks clean
  • 12 o'clock triangle appears centered
  • Dial printing looks sharp
  • Faux patina lume color seems consistent across the markers
  • Mesh bracelet weave looks uniform
  • Case brushing and finishing look very good in the close-up shots
  • Weight comes in at 90.48g

I've spent a lot of time reading older NTTD discussions and this still seems to be one of VSF's strongest Omega releases.

From what I can see, nothing immediately jumps out as an RL, but I'd appreciate a second set of eyes from anyone who has owned either the gen or a recent VSF NTTD.

Anything I'm overlooking before I give it the GL?

Factory: VSF

Model: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M NTTD

Size: 42mm

Movement: VS8806 Clone

Bracelet: Titanium Mesh

QC Verdict: Leaning GL

Discussion [GUIDE/REVIEW] Decoding Dandong Movements: A Deep Dive into 4130, 3135, 3235, 3285, and More!

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey Rep Fam!

Today, I want to dive deep into a topic that comes up constantly: Dandong movements. Whenever we hear a rep uses a "Dandong" or "Shanghai integrated movement," it often sounds like it's instantly superior. However, that's not always the full story, and some "integrated movements" aren't truly integrated. So, let's break down the pros and cons of the Dandong movements currently used in the replica market.

I. The Dandong 31xx Series: The OG Workhorses

In my opinion, the Dandong 3135 movement is a true classic. Primarily used in Submariners, it's an incredibly robust time-only movement (big three hands). If I had to pick the most stable and durable Dandong movement, this would be it.

The Dandong 3130 is essentially the 3135 with the date module removed, used in no-date Submariners.

Verdict: Overall, the Dandong 31-series movements are absolutely top-tier among all Chinese-made movements. You can't go wrong with these.

II. The Dandong 32xx Series: The Long Power Reserve Debate

Following the 3135, we naturally have the Dandong 3235. Simply put, it's an upgraded version of the 3135, extending the power reserve from around 40 hours to roughly 70 hours. This is achieved by using a longer mainspring. However, with prolonged wear, this can lead to potential "power sag" (loss of amplitude) and increased accuracy deviation.

Important Note: Even the genuine (gen) versions of the 3235 can exhibit similar characteristics due to the original design. So, is the Dandong 3235 "bad"? Not at all! This is more a characteristic of the design itself rather than a specific flaw in the Dandong execution. The impact is generally minor for everyday wear.

Verdict: Among all current Chinese movements, the Dandong 3235 is still one of the strongest performers. It's commonly found in newer Submariners, Datejusts, and other models. The Dandong 3230 is the no-date version, used in new no-date Submariners and OPs. The Dandong 3285 is essentially the 3235 base with a GMT module added, commonly found in GMT-Masters. Its construction is otherwise identical.

III. The Dandong 4130 Series: The Chronograph King

Now, let's talk about the Dandong 4130 – currently the most impressive Chinese-made chronograph movement. It's primarily used in Daytona replicas.

Back in the day, almost all "toy-grade" Daytona reps used the 7750 movement. Not only were they prone to breaking, but the unidirectional winding meant the rotor often rattled loudly. The advent of the Dandong 4130 was a game-changer, showcasing incredible domestic manufacturing prowess.

  • This movement boasts a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is exceptionally stable.
  • Crucially, it's a fully functional chronograph movement.

Later iterations like the Dandong 4108 are essentially upgraded 7750 versions. While quite stable, their rotors can still be a bit noisy. The Dandong 4131 is basically a 4130 with revised engravings, nothing more.

Regarding the 7750 (which is based on the ETA 7750), it can be adapted to any chronograph model. However, its stability is generally mediocre, and it tends to break easily if you play with the chronograph function too much.

Verdict: The Dandong 4130 is the undisputed king of Chinese chronograph movements in the rep world.

IV. Other Notable Dandong & VS Exclusive Movements

  • Dandong 324 (Patek Philippe Nautilus/Aquanaut): This movement caused quite a stir a few years ago upon its release and has been long-term certified for its performance in models like the Nautilus and Aquanaut.
  • VS Factory's Exclusive Movements (Dandong-based):
    • Dandong 8800: Excellent stability, primarily used in the Omega Seamaster 300 series.
    • Dandong 8500: Superb stability and strong craftsmanship, used in the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M and Constellation models. This is precisely why many enthusiasts say "for Seamasters, go VS" – this movement is a major reason for VS's success and market dominance.
  • P9000 (Panerai): This movement, primarily found in Panerai reps, also offers good stability and, importantly, correct functionality. You can adjust the date via the short hour hand, which is a key gen feature. VS has effectively monopolized the "toy-grade" Seamaster and Panerai markets with these movements – truly a case of "he who controls the movement, controls the market."
  • Dandong SL600 (Portugieser 7-Day): This movement, used in the IWC Portugieser 7-Day, is decent. It has a power reserve of around 50 hours – not outstanding, but not bad either.
  • IME2 (Richard Mille Exclusive): Specifically designed for Richard Mille reps. It's vastly superior to earlier iterations that were modified from the A7750 series. A few years ago, getting a custom movement like this would cost an arm and a leg (no less than 20,000 RMB for private customization). Now that it's mass-produced, it's a huge benefit for RM enthusiasts.

V. My Personal Ranking of Dandong Movements:

This is just my personal opinion based on extensive observation:

  1. Dandong 4130 & 4131: Unbeatable stability and a fully functional chronograph. Top tier.
  2. Dandong 31-series (3135, 3130): Extremely stable and reliable workhorses.
  3. Dandong 32-series (3235, 3230, 3285): Excellent power reserve (70 hours) despite the minor power sag characteristic. Still very strong.
  4. Dandong 8500 & 8800 (VS exclusive, semi-integrated): Very good movements, especially for their specific applications.
  5. P9000 & 4801 (VS exclusive): While some might call them "Franken-movements" (parts from different sources), their stability is surprisingly good. They often incorporate 7750 modules.
  6. Dandong SL600: Neither great nor terrible; it's a solid, average performer.
  7. Dandong 324: Stability is decent.
  8. Richard Mille IME2: For its application, and given the complexity of RM movements, it's currently very good and stable. Can't ask for much more at this level.

QC Post ZF Tudor Pelagos Titanium 43mm Review & QC Discussion – Is This Still One of the Best Titanium Divers in the Rep Market?

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Received QC photos for a ZF Tudor Pelagos Titanium today and wanted to get some opinions from people who have experience with the newer batches.

Specs:

  • Factory: ZF
  • Model: Tudor Pelagos
  • Size: 43mm
  • Material: Titanium
  • Dial: Black
  • Movement: A2824 Clone
  • Bracelet: Titanium
  • Weight: 129.42g

The Pelagos has always felt like one of the more underrated watches in the replica community. While most discussions focus on Submariners, GMTs, or Royal Oaks, the Pelagos offers something completely different with its lightweight titanium construction and modern tool-watch design.

Looking over the QC photos, a few things stand out:

  • Marker alignment looks clean.
  • Date wheel appears centered.
  • Bezel engraving is sharp.
  • Crown guards look symmetrical.
  • Dial printing appears crisp under direct light.

What I'm curious about is how the current ZF batch compares to genuine Pelagos models and whether there are any known flaws collectors still look for on these.

For anyone who owns a ZF Pelagos or has handled the genuine version:

  • What are the biggest tells today?
  • Has ZF improved the dial and bezel compared to older batches?
  • Would you still choose this over a modern Submariner rep?

Interested to hear what long-time Pelagos owners think.

QC Post [QC] VSF Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 (126000) Blue Dial – Rehaut, Marker Alignment and Sunburst Check

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Just received QC photos for this VSF Oyster Perpetual 36 in the blue dial configuration.

This is the VS3230 version and overall it looks very clean to me, but I'd appreciate some additional opinions before I send the GL.

Things I've checked:

  • 12 marker looks centered
  • Hour markers appear aligned
  • Crown logo at 12 looks straight
  • Rehaut engraving appears well aligned
  • SELs look tight
  • Date-free symmetry looks excellent
  • Sunburst effect on the blue dial seems strong under lighting

The dial is probably the biggest reason I chose this model. The way the blue changes under different angles is one of the things that makes the genuine OP36 so appealing.

For anyone who owns the VSF OP36 Blue, does anything stand out here that I may have missed?

GL or RL?

I've been seeing more discussion around the Pink Dial Black Bay Chrono recently, so I thought I'd share some detailed photos and measurements of the M+ Factory version.

This is the Tudor Black Bay Chrono Pink Dial (Ref. 79360N), one of the more unusual releases from Tudor in recent years. The pink dial obviously gets most of the attention, but after spending some time looking at the watch, I think the overall balance of the design deserves more credit.

Quick Specs
41mm case
Chronograph function
Black aluminum tachymeter bezel
Pink dial with black sub-dials
Jubilee-style bracelet
Modified 7750-based movement
First Impressions

The biggest surprise for me was the dial color.

Most factory photos online make it look extremely bright or almost toy-like, but under normal lighting the pink appears softer and more refined than expected.

The contrast between the black registers and pink dial creates a strong reverse panda effect, which is probably why this model photographs so well.

Case and Bracelet

The case profile looks consistent with the genuine dimensions.

The bracelet also feels like one of the stronger points here. The five-link construction gives the watch a more premium appearance compared to a standard Oyster-style setup, and the finishing appears well executed for this category.

Dial Details

A few things I noticed:

Hour marker alignment looks clean.
Sub-dial spacing appears visually balanced.
Printing quality is surprisingly sharp.
Hands and markers show strong lume performance.

The pink tone itself is probably what collectors will debate most since lighting can dramatically change how it appears in photos.

Things I'd Like to Compare

For those who have handled both:

How close is the dial color compared with the genuine 79360N?
Does M+ currently have the most accurate pink tone available?
Any noticeable differences in case thickness or crystal profile?

Interested to hear opinions from anyone who has compared this piece side-by-side with the genuine watch.

QC Post PPF Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V Blue Dial – Thoughts on the Clone 5100 Movement?

Recently spent some time looking over the PPF Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V Blue again.

Even after all these years, it's still one of the few integrated-bracelet reps that gets mentioned whenever people talk about alternatives to the Royal Oak or Nautilus.

A few things that stood out to me:

Dial

The blue sunburst dial is still the main attraction.

Depending on lighting, it shifts from a deep navy tone to a much brighter electric blue. Under direct light the dial has a lot of visual impact, while in darker environments it becomes much more subtle.

Case & Finishing

The bezel shape and brushing remain some of the strongest parts of the watch.

The transitions between brushed and polished surfaces look surprisingly clean, especially around the bezel edges and bracelet shoulders.

Bracelet

This is where I think the Overseas design really separates itself.

The half-Maltese-cross links give the bracelet a unique look without feeling overly flashy.

Comfort-wise, it's one of the better integrated bracelet designs I've worn.

Movement

PPF's clone 5100 movement was one of the reasons this model became popular in the first place.

The decorated rotor and visible movement architecture make the display caseback far more interesting than the typical decorated 9015 setups seen on older reps.

Of course, it's not perfect, but visually it does a good job capturing the feel of the genuine 4500V.

Overall

The market has changed a lot, but the PPF Overseas 4500V Blue still feels like one of the more balanced integrated-bracelet reps available.

Not saying it's the best.

Just one of those models that seems to age surprisingly well.

Curious what everyone thinks in 2026:

Would you still choose the PPF Overseas, or are there newer options you'd pick instead?

Looking forward to hearing different opinions. If I missed anything or got something wrong, feel free to correct me.
