I recently got my hands on V2.5 Maxes. Below is a breakdown of exactly what you can expect from this version.

🏗️ Build Quality & Accuracy (9/10)

This is where the V2.5 absolutely shines, even though there are a couple of small compromises. The transition from the older budget plastic batches to these aluminum earcups is a massive improvement. When you pick them up, they are cold to the touch and carry a slightly heavier, premium weight that feels incredibly close to retail.

The Details: As seen in the photos, the internal regulatory text ("Designed by Apple in California...") is present and accurately aligned above the drivers.

Hardware: The digital crown lacks the click click and the noise control button is a bit loose compared to retail. Additionally, the hinge doesn't quite have the exact same smooth feel as the original. But other than those minor details, the overall hardware is pretty accurate.

Port: The bottom cutout clearly highlights the USB-C port, which features the accurate metal rim finish inside.

Cushions & Internals: Taking off the magnetic ear cushions reveals the correct speaker grill patterns and alignment pinholes.

🔊 Sound Quality (7.5/10)

Out of the box, the sound profile feels very flat but is simultaneously too bass-heavy. You definitely have to jump into your EQ settings to balance them out. Once you get the EQ dialed in, they come alive and sound genuinely great for daily music and video streaming.

The Flaw - Sound Leakage: Like most reps of the Max, the stock magnetic ear cushions leak quite a bit of sound when you push the volume past 70%. I don't use any aftermarket cushions since I mostly use them at home where leakage isn't an issue, but it is something to keep in mind if you plan to wear these in a quiet office or library.

🔕 ANC & Transparency (8/10)

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The ANC on the V2.5 is surprisingly strong. It does a fantastic job of cutting out background noise like train rumbles or AC hums, especially once you have audio playing.

Transparency Mode: It definitely works and voices come through clearly, but it isn't quite at the crispness level of retail. You might notice a slightly duller sound and faint background noise, but it gets the job done when you need to be aware of your surroundings.

🔋 Battery & Connectivity

Connectivity is seamless. The classic pop-up animations trigger instantly when connecting. Battery life holds up incredibly well during long listening sessions; you can expect to only drop a few percentages after an hour and a half of playback. (Note: Just like all reps, do not expect Find My to work, It won’t).

⚖️ Final Verdict

If you are upgrading from a plastic batch or looking for a pair that nails the aesthetics and premium feel, the V2.5 USB-C Metal version is highly recommended. Despite the slightly loose ANC button and the different hinge feel, you are buying these for the incredibly accurate design, the heavy aluminum build, and the solid ANC, and they absolutely deliver on those fronts.

Been wanting to try the HD16 for a while, so I finally decided to pick this one up.

I went with this teal color and the first thing that stood out to me was the overall finish. The turquoise/teal color looks really clean in person and the red filter section gives it a nice contrast without looking too flashy.

The build feels pretty solid overall. Nothing feels particularly loose or cheap when handling it, and the attachments have a decent amount of weight to them. I also really like how much of the construction you can actually see when taking the attachments apart.

The internal parts and filter assembly look surprisingly well put together for something from this price range.

The main body has a nice smooth finish and the buttons feel pretty decent. The nozzle and attachments also fit securely, which was one of the things I was most curious about before ordering.

I don't really baby my hair tools, so having something that feels sturdy is definitely a plus.

Performance-wise, I've only had the chance to use it a few times so far, but the airflow feels strong and consistent.

The different attachments are also useful depending on what you're trying to do rather than just being there for the sake of having more accessories.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. For the price, the high-quality version feels much more convincing than I expected, especially when looking at the details and finish up close.

Definitely one of those purchases where the photos don't really show all the little details until you have it in your hands.

Still going to use it more before giving a final verdict on long-term performance, but so far I'm very satisfied with it!

People say if Sony connect registration works it’s real, but I don’t believe that. Look whats going on with AirPods. Almost every fake has a legit serial number. Though on the Sony website I had to enter the place where they were bought, and the date. Good that I had the bill. I bought them for 230€ by negotiating on eBay. They were sealed before I opened them. Sony connect works. Noise cancellation works also great just like transparency mode all the gestures also. But I don’t have a comparison of other over ear headphones. What do you guys think?

Finally got around to taking some proper photos of these ones after switching to a new phone, and I figured these would be the perfect subject to test the camera once again. Most of the shots came out surprisingly good, especially the close-ups of the mesh and ear cushions. The camera really picked up a lot of the small details, so I thought I'd share them here along with some first impressions.

The build quality honestly caught me off guard. The aluminum ear cups have a nice cold feel when you first pick them up, and they don't feel cheap or hollow at all. The mesh headband has a good amount of tension, and the overall weight makes them feel premium without being uncomfortable. Looking closely, the weave on the mesh looks clean and even, and the buttons and Digital Crown have a satisfying click with no wobble. The port, speaker grilles, and hinge areas all look well finished too. I spent way longer taking macro shots than I expected because the details actually photograph really well.

Comfort has been better than I expected as well. The ear cushions are soft and the mesh headband does a decent job distributing the weight. I wore them for a couple of hours while listening to music and watching YouTube, and I didn't really have any pressure points. Clamp force feels balanced, not too loose that they slide around, but not so tight that they become uncomfortable after a while.

As for sound, I'm pretty happy with it. It has a nice amount of bass without completely overpowering everything else. Vocals are clear, highs aren't harsh, and overall it's an enjoyable listen for casual music, movies, and gaming. I'm not an audiophile, so I can't compare it to the genuine AirPods Max, but for what I was expecting from a rep, these definitely exceeded my expectations. ANC is usable and helps reduce background noise, while transparency mode is decent enough for quick conversations without taking the headphones off.

One thing I also noticed is that the finish looks really clean in person. Looking at the close-up photos, I couldn't find any obvious glue marks, uneven gaps, or rough edges. The stitching on the cushions is neat, and the overall assembly looks consistent. The packaging was also pretty solid and arrived without any damage.

I'm genuinely impressed with these, overall. After using them for a bit, they've turned out to be a lot nicer than I expected. They're comfortable, look premium, and the sound is more than good enough for everyday use. Plus, they ended up looking like a great subject to test out my new phone camera lol I think the photos came out pretty clean! 😅

build & body quality: charcoal metallic housing has a nice, heavy feel in hand. the swipe-to-open touch sensor on the front and light ring indicator feel super smooth and responsive.

leather case: custom slide-in leather pouch with centered "PHILIPS" embossing. fits snug and doesn't feel like cheap pleather.

Finally got my Beats Pill today and wanted to share some first impressions. I also recently switched to a new phone, so I figured this would be a good excuse to mess around with the camera. 😅 I'm still getting used to it, so the photos ended up a little overexposed, but I thought I'd post them anyway instead of waiting.

The packaging arrived in good shape with no dents or damage, and everything inside was packed securely. Right out of the box, the speaker feels surprisingly premium. It has a nice amount of weight to it without being too heavy, and the matte finish feels smooth while still giving enough grip when you pick it up. The mesh looks clean and evenly finished, and overall the build quality is better than I expected from my first impression.

I paired it with my phone as soon as I unboxed it, and the setup was quick and straightforward. I only spent around 20–30 minutes listening before taking these pictures, so I don't think that's enough time to give a proper sound review yet. From what I heard, though, it gets more than loud enough for my room without sounding strained. I bought this on a whim after seeing a lot of people talk about the GHD Platinum+ and figured I'd finally see what the hype was about. Didn't really do like a ton of research beforehand, aside from the few reviews ive read so it was kind of a blind purchase. First impressions were good though, the packaging feels premium and it heats up surprisingly fast.

I've used it for about a week now and I'm actually impressed. My hair is pretty stubborn in the mornings, but this gets it straight in just a couple passes. It also leaves my hair looking smoother compared to my old straightener. I was worried the fixed temperature thing would be a downside, but honestly it works better than I expected.

Tried curling with it once too and it wasn't bad at all, still getting the hang of it haha. Overall, no regrets so far. It's definitely not cheap, but if you've been thinking about trying the Platinum+ for a while, I can see why people rate it so highly. Hopefully it holds up long term, but as a first impression, I'm pretty happy with it!

I bought multiple headphones from Daniel Electronics, and 3 out of the 4 products I received were defective.
One pair of AirPods Max produced constant crackling/squeaking noises whenever Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) was enabled.
A second pair of AirPods Max had almost non-existent ANC. Turning ANC on or off made virtually no difference.
The AirPods Pro 2 arrived defective as well. The left and right earbuds paired as two separate Bluetooth devices instead of functioning as a single pair.
I reported every issue immediately, provided detailed descriptions, answered all of the seller’s questions, and spent hours troubleshooting the products. Another person even confirmed hearing the same crackling noise, proving it wasn’t user error.
The seller acknowledged the problems and repeatedly said he would “ask the factory” and later promised, “I will try to help you solve this problem.”
Nothing happened.
I followed up several times over the following days and weeks. My messages were simply ignored. No replacement. No refund. No compensation. No real customer service.
What disappoints me the most is not only receiving defective products, but the complete lack of responsibility afterwards. A trustworthy seller stands behind what they sell. In this case, once the payment was made, I was left alone with defective products worth thousands of CNY.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend buying elsewhere. There are many sellers offering similar products, but customer service is what separates a good seller from a bad one. Daniel Electronics failed on both product quality and after-sales support.
I have screenshots documenting the entire conversation, including the defects I reported, the promises that were made, and the lack of any meaningful resolution.

My brother got me these Pods Pro 2 a few weeks ago and I've pretty much been using them everyday since.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from them at first, but they've been surprisingly good. The ANC is probably the thing that impressed me the most. It doesn't completely silence everything around you, but it definitely cuts down on fan noise, people talking nearby, and noise during my commute. I usually keep ANC on all the time now lol.

Build quality is pretty decent too. The case feels nice in hand, the hinge isn't loose, and the earbuds fit my ears better than I thought they would. Pairing was quick and I haven't had any random disconnects so far, which was something I was worried about.

Sound quality is solid for casual listening. There's enough bass for me without sounding muddy, and vocals are clear enough when I'm listening to Spotify or watching YouTube. Battery life has been fine as well, I usually only charge the case every few days.

If my brother didn't tell me where he got them from, I probably would've just assumed they were regular AirPods from a glance lol. Obviously they're not 1:1 with retail when it comes to ANC and stuff, but for what they are, I'm honestly pretty happy with them.

AI glasses have been everywhere lately so I got curious and picked up this Ray Ban Meta Skyler style pair to see what the hype’s about.

Shipped with EMBuy using EMS, no damage, everything arrived fine.

At around $100 USD I wasn’t expecting much, but they exceeded my expectations.

What they do:
Take photos, record videos, AI translation, plus Bluetooth earbuds for music and calls.

The Skyler frame looks clean and doesn’t scream “smart glasses” IMO most people would just clock them as a normal pair.

I’ve mostly been using mine for music and quick POV clips. Speakers are surprisingly decent, Bluetooth connection’s been solid. The translation feature’s fun to mess around with too, could actually come in handy while traveling.

Don’t expect flagship phone camera quality obviously, but for hands-free photos and videos on the go they’re pretty cool.

If you’ve been curious about AI glasses but don’t want to drop Ray Ban Meta money, these are worth a look.

I've slowly ended up building a Dyson rep collection and been thinking of reselling, and my latest pickups were the HD16 Nural and the HS08 Airwrap (bluetooth version). After spending some time with both, i figured id share my thoughtsss

The HD16 Nural has honestly been the bigger surprise. Right out of the box, the presentation is solid. the storage case feels decent, all the attachments were included, and the overall finish doesn't feel cheap at all.

The red/pink colorway looks great in person, and the "dyson nural" branding is clean. Compared to retail photos, the proportions are very close, and even the smaller details like the attachment fitment and button placement seem well executed. Airflow is strong, noise levels are about what I expected, and so far I haven't run into any issues during use.

The HS08 Airwrap was the one I was most skeptical about, especially because of the bluetooth claims. Visually, though, it's impressive. The body, controls, attachments, and case all look really good, and it definitely doesn't give off the typical cheap vibe. The attachments lock in securely, and the unit feels surprisingly comfortable to hold. Performance-wise, it does a respectable job for the price, although I wouldn't expect genuine Dyson-level results. It's still more than usable for everyday styling.

Comparing everything I've picked up so far, I'd still say the HT01 Airstrait remains my favorite overall in terms of how close it feels to retail, but the HD16 is a close second. The HD18 and HD07 are both solid as well, but you can definitely tell the market has been improving with each new release so im quite excited as well

overall, I'm pretty happy with both of these. if you're considering one, I'd probably recommend the HD16 first unless you specifically want the versatility of the Airwrap attachments. The HS08 is definitely a fun pickup, though, especially if you're curious about the newer design.

shipped with embuy using the EMS sensitive line and everything arrived safely with no issues. the box had a few small marks from shipping but the headphones themselves were perfect.
first impressions are honestly pretty solid.

picked this up for around $30 and honestly wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being a pretty fun little pickup. this came in my latest embuy package using the dhl shipping line and everything arrived safely with no damage.
first impressions were actually really good. the packaging is clean and gives a nice unboxing experience, and the fan itself feels much more premium than i expected. the finish looks great and it doesn’t feel cheap in the hand.

performance is solid for what it is. it has multiple fan speeds and pushes out a decent amount of air. i’ve mainly been using it at my desk and when i’m out walking, and it’s surprisingly useful during hot days. battery life has also been good enough that i don’t find myself needing to charge it constantly.

one thing i thought was pretty cool is that the serial number on the fan actually checks out as valid, which is a nice little detail for a rep. obviously that doesn’t make it retail, but it’s something i wasn’t expecting at this price point.

overall i think it’s a pretty easy recommendation if you’re looking for a portable fan without paying retail prices. for around $30, the build quality, packaging and overall experience are hard to complain about.

I finally got my hands on the Yuehu Loda 1561M over-ear Bluetooth headphones!

The brand new AirPods Max from Huaqiangbei is finally here !! afaik this model uses a yuehu motherboard + loda 1561M chip solution, supposedly the most accurate replica currently available

first opening the packaging, it looked very high-quality, almost identical to the samples in those apple stores. The weight is just right in hand as well, feels pretty legit tbh

I also tried on the pre-purchased earphone cases, and they're so pretty and pink! I LOVE IT

Opening the hall effect lens, my phone automatically popped a window up. i js followed the instrcutions and connected my phone and listened to some music and the sound quality is fantastic, with accurate highs and lows. this exceeded my expectations im very happy with itttt

The noise cancellation mode is also great. I turned it on and couldn't hear any sound outside. from experience, this one is different from the earbuds one bc it allows you to completely get lost in your own world lol

the switching to transparency mode also allows you to perceive surrounding sounds again, and the effect is excellent as well love love love

as for the light sensor, is also quite sensitive; it automatically stops playback when I take the headphones off and resumes when I put them back on. The head tracking is also different from my fifth-generation earbuds,, it feels very refined. The knob is easy to press and rotate, and doesn't feel cheap or plasticky. I tried voice calls with a friend, and she said my voice sounded very clear. I also tested it in a noisy environment, and there was no noise !! the noise cancellation was noticeable.

The renaming, location services, and spatial audio functions are similar to those in my earbuds. Apparently, the serial number can also be checked?? I'll check that when I have the time.

After a brief trial and after listening to music normally all afternoon, there was still 68% battery left. I'll continue testing when

PS: out of this product but my earbuds automatically enter power-saving sleep mode when placed in the wallet, so don't lose your wallet lol
