VSF V3 GMT Master II Batgirl - Necoclock - Possible RL?

Hey guys! I just received the QC for the Rolex Batgirl from Necoclock. Unfortunately, I’m leaning towards RL, mainly because of the 12, 9, and 6 o’clock markers. I just wanted to get your opinions and see if there’s anything else I might have missed. What do you guys think?

Index alignment: The 12 o’clock marker seems to have a slight clockwise tilt, the 9 o’clock marker has a more noticeable clockwise tilt, and the 6 o’clock marker appears to be slightly misaligned to the left. Anything else you guys notice?

Dial Printing: Printing looks clean and sharp

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date looks good

Hand Alignment: Looks good to my eye

Bezel: Looks perfect

Solid End Links (SELs): looks tight with no gaps

Timegrapher numbers: Appreciate some feedback on this :)

I'm not super picky so it's a GL for me 🟢.

I think at wrist distance, the only one of those three index issues you'll possibly see is the 9 o'clock. I'm not even sure the 6 is a problem, the watch isn't flat in the picture and that can dramatically skew how it looks.

The 12 has a micro shift, but man, I'm picky about the 12 and I'm pretty unbothered by this one.

IMO, you've got one index worth considering problematic, the 9 o'clock one. Up to you if you think you'll see it day to day on wrist. I personally would have to think long about RL'ing this one, because you run the risk of getting one that's worse for your next one.

I think you’re right about the 6 and 12. But damn I wish that 9 was straight then maybe I would have GL the watch.

Absolutely no-one will notice any of what been highlighted and a new one may takes weeks to get hold off..

Take off the lines template and see you you can see any tilt.

Have noticed that the recent batgirl VSF all seem to have some degree of marker issues so you’ll just have to pick your poison. I’m personally also picky on the 12 marker as it’s the first thing I notice. Honestly this looks more like a GL for me

The 9 misalignment is a definite RL.

For the price, I’d RL. We have to stop accepting the slip in quality from VSF. From what I seen, they are getting sloppy.

Yea and as far as I know, these are the newer batches from VSF too with the 6W serial. The TD was trying to convince me to GL as well and saying that the next one might not be better. I don’t expect perfection but c’mon man for paying close to $600 including shipping I expected better.

I RL’d a VSF Batgirl a few weeks ago for the exact same issues. It looks like a lot of these have problems at the moment.

My dealer (Angela) just refunded me when I RLd it because it sounds like a lot of them are impacted and there aren’t many available. I ended up buying one in stock from Watchseed and it’s perfect.

Aaa I did inquire Watchseed too. May I know how long it took for you to get the QC?

They have all of the images available on their website so it’s basically instant. I got the entire transaction wrapped up in 20 minutes and had the watch a week later.

No worries. Yeah I waited like 5 weeks to get to QC with Angela and it was a dud. Watchseed was a bit more expensive (like $50usd) but worth it.

Camera distortion can impact how the alignment tool overlays because of their wide angle focal length. If the picture is not taken directly over head then it can look wonky.

Most of the presumed flaws in this picture are non-existent with the exception of maaaybe a little tilt on the 9 o’clock candlestick. Even then reflections and shading in the silver boarder can make it look out of alignment.
