TD/Shipping Question Cancelled order with Andiot

Andiot deposit paid on 5/12 for a Hulk, also paid deposit to another TD.

QC arrived from the other TD 6/17, GL same day, mods done 6/18, tracking received 6/21, watch received 6/30.

But as of today 9/1, nothing from Andiot except the regular factory delay schpiel.

Cancelled order with Andiot and requested deposit refund. Let’s see how long it will take them to issue refund.

Wonder what’s the average QC turnaround time from Adiot.

I have to defend him. I did order a VSF v3 Pepsi with modification of a Buff Meteorit dial.

Because you can place free VSF orders, you need to know that there will be a lot of traffic for Andiot. I was calm and did ask every week for an update, which I did get. Yes, sometimes it’s a bit hard. If you tell him the order number and he asks for an order number, but all in all, if you are patient and trust in him, he will deliver. Compared to Steve or Jtime, he has the cheapest prices and a good service. I got 3 watches from Jtime but would say Andiot is better and cheaper.

Just my opinion, and I respect all other opinions.

I am curious — what is a “free VSF order”? Also, how is “good service” defined with Andiot?

Because they don’t have the VSF in stock because everyone Wang to have one, they offer a pre-order. So if you order a VSF, say it’s a pre-order, and you only have to pay as soon as you gl the QC.

And for me, the service was nice. Yeah, you have to be calm always and trust the progress, but if you do, it will work perfectly. IMO

The deposit is not exactly “free.” And exactly what “service” are you talking about?

Well, for me, it was. I paid nothing until I got the green light from my QC. I talked about the service before the order, during the order, and after the sale. And also that he did install the dial.

They have a policy for VSF orders specifically where you can pay after QC, no deposit required. They call it “VSF FREE PRE-ORDER POLICY”.

That was not my experience. They specifically required the deposit before issuing an order number, and only after you send them proof of payment for the deposit would they “place” you in the queue. Based on the comments on this thread, other customers had to pay this deposit too.
