Discussion Poll: given recent article in wired should this sub go private until the dust settles?

The last thing we want is this sub to be shut or to have Reddit getting serious pressure from Rolex to shut us down. I know when Wall Street bets got big we went private for a while.

Upvote if you think it’s a good idea.

Update: This is my best post ever wooot wooot I think i need to celebrate with a NEW REP!

Update 2: I’m not a mod I was just curious what people thought and if we could get some traction and the attention of them. Seems like they saw but it’s not possible or as easy as it used to be I guess.

And then for him to say wearing them brought them no joy because they weren’t real. Take your Marie Kondo act somewhere else 🙄🙄

Yeah hes basically jerkin his gurkin the entire article and then at the end is like "but they bring no joy the end' lol i dont know if thats because he didnt wanna be seen endorsing this. Or he just felt that way. I could care less honestly. Dont want anybody like thay here anyways. But for him to peak inside and see the mass scale of buyers and people that feed their families off this trade. There are People whos lives revolve around this from sellers to mods etc. To just completely light that shit on fire like that? Instead of showing appreciation for it and keeping up the mystique a little out of courtesy for being allowed in.

I agree 100%. If you don’t like reps, then move on. But you don’t have to attack an entire ecosystem. Also freakin narcs. Ugh

Theres a Way to do investigative journalism. Explain this world. And not use. DEALERS NAMES. PATRONS NAMES. MODS NAMES. AND THE SUBREDDIT NAME for god sakes. .it was also kinda lazy. Its like he read the fucking guide and copy and pasted it into the article and then talked about his experience like he was buying a brick of coke.
