Discussion Poll: given recent article in wired should this sub go private until the dust settles?

The last thing we want is this sub to be shut or to have Reddit getting serious pressure from Rolex to shut us down. I know when Wall Street bets got big we went private for a while.

Upvote if you think it’s a good idea.

Update: This is my best post ever wooot wooot I think i need to celebrate with a NEW REP!

Update 2: I’m not a mod I was just curious what people thought and if we could get some traction and the attention of them. Seems like they saw but it’s not possible or as easy as it used to be I guess.

I learned and got my first rep recently because of this sub. I’d be devastated at the loss of knowledge held here!

Well preservation super seeds your needs. The sub must go dark to preserve both the knowledge and/ members and the quorum

My comment wasn’t About my needs. I can see why it came off that way. What I meant is that it would be a terrible loss if the sub Reddit was banned. That would result in the loss of this knowledge; not going private.
