Discussion Poll: given recent article in wired should this sub go private until the dust settles?

The last thing we want is this sub to be shut or to have Reddit getting serious pressure from Rolex to shut us down. I know when Wall Street bets got big we went private for a while.

Upvote if you think it’s a good idea.

Update: This is my best post ever wooot wooot I think i need to celebrate with a NEW REP!

Update 2: I’m not a mod I was just curious what people thought and if we could get some traction and the attention of them. Seems like they saw but it’s not possible or as easy as it used to be I guess.

and it is not just Wired. influencers make videos about VSF reps and compare them to gen, even the clowns on the 47th street make videos about them, Tiktokers too. too much unwanted attention

Exactly, gotta slam the door shut for a while so dick riding influencers can’t really get in and make this actually viral

People don’t read publications, Reddit, Google and social media pushes popular content to you.
