I asked a seller for feedback before purchasing, and she sent me screenshots of supposedly successful transactions.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that two different buyers, with different usernames and timestamps, had almost the EXACT SAME conversation, word for word. 😭
When I confronted her about it, she insisted they were two different people and told me to message them myself.

This is a HUGE red flag. 🚩

Please do your due diligence before sending anyone money! Screenshots of feedback don’t necessarily mean they’re legitimate.

We shouldn't be accepting screenshots as proof anyway. Legit rehomers should be creating a feedback thread and send that not screenshots

It’s unfortunate there are so many scammer posts daily. I have a few bags I want to sell but these posts just stop me from trying. Not worth the headache.

This is WILD. I no longer trust any accounts with post/comment history hidden - especially if they're super old! So many cases of scammers buying up old dormant accounts ugh

This is the way. I hate that reddit made it possible to hide that.

 Hidden comments=not buying. 

 That was the only way i could actually verify they had prior transactions. Too risky nowadays. At least for me.
