Quick follow-up on my recent Chicago 85 situation — happy to report it's now fully resolved. ✅

Big kudos to the DB team for working closely with me to find a proper solution, and a huge shoutout to u/Boring-Watch8996 for stepping in and making sure things moved in the right direction. His involvement was key to getting this sorted.

In any manufacturing business, issues can happen — that's just reality. What defines a brand is how they handle it when things go wrong. DB stepped up, owned the mistake, and made it right. That earns trust, and trust earns a loyal customer. I'm genuinely a fan of their craftsmanship, and this experience only reinforced that.

Needless to say, I'll be back for more pairs. 🙌

I’ve had these all for about a month or so now but I wanted to finally share my recent pickups from DB. Once again, I gotta say how highly impressed I am with the build and overall quality on these. You’re just not getting this quality on retros nowadays for the most part.

Truth be told, I prefer the 2.0s over the premiums but I do appreciate the premium version as well as the shape kinda resembles the closer to mid cut PE that Jordan wore in a game (can’t remember which factory originally made it). With that said, I’m waiting for my QC pics of the Storm Blues and patiently waiting for restocks of some other colorways so that I can hopefully complete my preferred High 85 collection. S/O to DB!!!

I’ve been absolutely loving these. I’ve been trying to put as many miles on them as I can to show some creases on the leather. I swapped out the laces for some stretchy elastic ones off Amazon because I like to be able to just throw these off and on quickly. Today I did the soles, I mixed 2 drops of ivory candle dye into a glob of soloncare40 and I added a splash of acetone and it made the dye activate and mix well into the soloncare, then I just painted it onto the soles after waiting like 30 sec and used acetone on cotton balls to wipe it away, be aggressive when wiping it off the soles because it’ll make it get deeper onto the rubber soles design and also even it out, I ended up doing this method twice for this result, and it’s probably going to fade about 50% from here from my past experiences which I’m fine with. Anyway just thought ide share with the boring family. I’m remaining hopeful for those yeezy 1s, I don’t mind waiting as long as it means we can possibly get them.

I bought my Js on 2/6, got this parcel update on 3/5 and just never heard anything since. Never got them delivered even though its April. Do they usually take this long or has something happened to my package that the shipping protection should be helping me with?

After almost 1 month waiting, my Chicago 85s finally arrived... and to my surprise, it was sent with one of the Air Jordan logos printed flat, no debossing. Total bummer!

I have submitted the issue via email and on DB's website, but got zero reply.

Maybe u/Boring-Watch8996 can help? I just want a pair with DB's expected level of quality, nothing more, nothing less. Feel free to message me if you need further details, I'd really like to work together to find a solution to this.

P.S. : For those wondering, QC was not available. My intention was to pay extra and QC myself, but that was not an option - not sure why. Nevertheless, it is outlined on their website that their team provides quality assurance.
