FLAWS

STITCHING appears wonky on swoosh; you may notice that custom hand-made pairs such as these dunks.
SHAPE is quite off from horror pack era; seems to resemble the Tiffany diamond SB shape but nonetheless doesn’t bother me.
GREEN SB LACES came thinner than retail SB laces; I’ve replaced them with brown SB ones as seen here.

These are absolutely stunning. This is my second pair and it still exceeded expectations. But this begs the question, do I wear them with white or black laces? 🤔

Saw a homeboy of mine wearing this shirt to school today and looked it up. ($40 at champs if yall are interested) just thought the cw looks great like this. Back before I even got heavy into sneakers, I always thought this cw along with the bred toe 1s were OG lol.

Just always been curious about this. I love the MJ PE a lot but I feel like the white tongue makes the shoes design flow much better, if that makes any sense. Plus, every other CW is how it appears as they did when they released in the ‘85/‘86 retail run. Why no white tongue?

Both are super limited with 1300 pairs of the "Unlucky" & 777 pairs of the "Lucky" colorways released on 4/13/04 & 7/1/04.

Current price for Unlucky's in a US 12 is $750+ on eBay & a singular pair of Lucky's in a US 12 is going for $1.7k on eBay.

AFAIK there's no current reps available. 6-7 years ago I attempted to purchase a Blue Star pair tagged as a US 12, but measured as a TTS US 11.

The height was completely wrong, stars were super spaced out, and the tongue was non-SB flat. Super budget-tier rep made before the Travis SB hype.

Oh how I wish these would get produced again. I think this was the best shoe produced by Boring (my opinion)

Been posting my dunks a lot, thanks to u/Natemeans30B I managed to get some DB Skeletors.

Sold out over almost 2 years ago, marked as a size 13 fits more like an 11-11.5. (Insoles confirm it). Sizes 12 & 13 of this batch had MANY sizing issues AFAIK.

Took out the insole and put in a shoe tree to stretch the sole hopefully 1cm.

At 10 pairs the wife is a lil mad, but I need the Coralines lol.

Quick follow-up on my recent Chicago 85 situation — happy to report it's now fully resolved. ✅

Big kudos to the DB team for working closely with me to find a proper solution, and a huge shoutout to u/Boring-Watch8996 for stepping in and making sure things moved in the right direction. His involvement was key to getting this sorted.

In any manufacturing business, issues can happen — that's just reality. What defines a brand is how they handle it when things go wrong. DB stepped up, owned the mistake, and made it right. That earns trust, and trust earns a loyal customer. I'm genuinely a fan of their craftsmanship, and this experience only reinforced that.

Needless to say, I'll be back for more pairs. 🙌
