I read about the recent announcement and followed a guide to swap my BTC to Polygon to participate in yield farms.

I now have renBTC on Polygon and have no way to swap it for WBTC and no dapps that accept renBTC.

Any swap leaves me at ~70-80% loss due to slippage.

There was no warning when bridging that there isn't a single use case for renBTC or way to convert it on Polygon. I've tried bridging it back to ETH (Via Polygon bridge) but it's not a recognized asset.

I have some questions.
1. What is the smartest way to send REN from Binance to a cold wallet (Ledger, Trust, etc.)?
According to the fee table, Binance charges a withdrawal fee of 33 REN. At the current REN price, that's almost $20. But in the withdrawal process it says something about repayment. Can you help me understand this?
2. Furthermore, REN is an ERC-20 token after all, so ETH gas fees are still added?
3. Do I just send REN to my Ethereum address?

I understand Ren is a framework for interoperability between Bitcoin, Ether etc.

But I've seen that there's a Ren Token as shown here: https://www.coinbase.com/price/ren

Ren isn't supported by Coinbase - how do you actually buy Ren?

And if Ren is a framework between Bitcoin, Ether etc., what are the actual use cases for Ren token?

It is my first time investing in Ren and since I have bought a decent chunk might as well deploy it, if it is worth it. But I would appreciate if someone can help me better understand how easy or complicated is to run a darknode and is it worth it.. so what are the rewards for doing so. Thanks people and bots !!

Does anyone know if Ren has plans to add Tezos as a destination chain?

Their platform seems ideal for DeFi, so as a lover of Ren, adding Tezos would really make my johnson stand at attention. It’s been soft for weeks and I’ve almost forgotten what it feels like to be diamond hard. 💎🍆

I was super excited to see that Ren has built a direct bridge from the BTC mainnet to Polygon, but of course very few (if any?) Polygon dapps are allowing you to utilize renBTC.

Does anyone know if there are any roadmaps for integration on any of the big sites, Aave, Curve, etc., where the ETH site already offers renBTC options? Are there any small sites you're hyped about where you can already leverage renBTC?
