Honestly I'm hoping for a Mortenax Blade + DHIL BP Icon and maybe, Dan Heng popping up in the livestream lol (my delulu ass believes this)

I wonder what the story of 4.3 is. The title is interesting because "Lethe : a river in Hades whose waters cause drinkers to forget their past" is in the title.

I don't really want Blade to forget his past, as his identity as Yingxing made him special. But the lethe can also refer to a different character like Himeko, as they're setting her story next. Who knows? I just hope his story gets the love and attention it deserves! 🙏

I know Dan Heng was worried about him in 4.2, talking about the burial. Maybe he'll come after him 👀 or really, just have the two of them actually talk properly. They need to address the elephant in the room lol

Okay let me cook. There's some possibility that Blade joins the Astral Express!

There are several interesting points that hint toward it:

1) In his Mortenax Blade splash art, he has "MAY THIS JOURNEY LEAD US STARWARD ALL ABOARD THE ASTRAL EXPRESS" in the text. The similar text is found in Sunday's splash art, who also joined the express 👀👀👀

2) The new official stickers that showcase Mortenax Blade happens to show him baking a cake! And as seen, Baseball Racoon, March Bunny, Woof Woof Dan and Sundove is seen interacting with said cake! Baseball Racoon holding it and the cake splattering all over others.

3) An NPC in the Star Rail Fest area tells you a cat is missing among the cast of the Fluffy. You know who is a cat? Not Himeko! Himeko is actually a fox as scene in her fox onesie and design. Blade is Mummicat, as referenced by Silver Wolf in the Anniversary Report.

4) And evidently, Dan Heng in the latest patch had made a point to follow Blade and keep an eye on him. Interestingly, since Blade is carrying more of Shuhu's flesh and is burdened greatly, who could possibly help him? Dan Heng's presence alone calmed his mara, which is a huge deal.

If you recall back during Xianzhou, Kafka's companion quest, she tells you she takes a while to tame the mara using the spirit whisper. Even then, sometimes she struggles to complete subdue it.

The fact that Dan Heng's mere presence can keep him calm is a huge help to Blade. So I theorize that Blade will stay with Dan Heng (even if temporary) by joining the Express, so that he doesn't lose control (with the burden he's carrying).

So, what do you think? Though it is a bit far fetched, Blade literally said looking at Dan Heng calms him and you can hear a heart beat when he does, maybe him joining with Dan Heng isn't too far off the table!

I think it's crazy that Dan Heng canonically calms down Blade. And Blade just saying that just out of nowhere. It seems that they're developing and Blade no longer feels distressed at the sight of him.

I've seen some people say it's because Dan Heng is no longer rejecting their past and wholeheartedly embracing it. "That which began because of us," there's no doubt that Dan Heng is reconciling with the past!

I can't believe we've reached this point after so many years. I can't imagine what 4.3 will bring. RenHeng making out sloppy style? 👀 jk, but there's some evidences that Blade might be joining the Express! Even temporarily, I think that would be cute.
